The visuals of this series have always broken new ground, or at least completely dropped the jaws of all who viewed them, and this game is no exception. The high-res visuals are a feast for the eyes, and the animation intricacies really show off how much care has gone into them.

The original was so innovative that playing something just like it doesn’t carry that "been there, done that" feel most games have these days.

As someone who loves the ‘Metroidvanias” and the new tradition of tons of unlockable features, I’m very satisfied with Portrait of Ruin.

Sega finally got the rhythm back again as ESPN NBA 2K5 excels on all levels and is easily the best playing and most featured filled basketball game on the market.

Heather and all of her friends and foes look incredible. The detail on each character model is so convincing that someone might think SH3 is a CG movie at first glace.

Yep, Bomberman is one of the greatest party games of all time.

An excellent simulation title, and anyone that is a fan of the genre would be very happy to pick it up.

A mix of GTA, pretty fireballs, and generic music make Mercenaries a title that doesn’t embarrass the genre, but doesn’t further videogames either.

It isn’t the most beautiful or best-sounding game out there, but it is one of the most diverse.

Tetris DS has online play, loving tributes to classics of the past, and the best music of any Tetris game yet. It’s a treat for dedicated Nintendo and Tetris fans alike.

The story is fast paced, interesting and hip plus the production value is Hollywood quality.

Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends is one of those games that you can sit down, have fun then look at the clock and realize two hours have gone by, it’s just that addictive.

Though the touch screen gameplay in Sk8land isn’t as intuitive as it should be, Vicarious Visions hit all the other bases of a good Tony Hawk title.

I cannot stress enough how engrossing the story is.

Better sound, more strategy and more of those lovable psychotic penguins is what you’ll find contained in this single disc game.

Fable is a fantastic game and TLC builds even more onto it. The one thing I am disappointed with is that there is no multiplayer mode.

Thankfully, we all know it is not the graphics and sound that makes a game. The actual gameplay for RGA is some of the best I have experienced of the dozens of racers that are available for the GBA.

It is rather odd given all the overhauls done to these two games that Team Ninja didn't see fit to localize the voiceovers. Luckily there are English subtitles to help you understand what is going on pre and post fight.
