DOOM 3 is somewhat an unique entry in the franchise, and some aspects have aged better than others. However, if you want an old-school shooter, id’s game still has a lot to offer.

Friday the 13th nails the feeling of the franchise it is based on. It’s obviously meant to be played online, with intense matches and a survival horror touch.

The Church in the Darkness is a game with a great concept, but its execution isn’t flawless and ends up feeling repetitive. It isn’t a bad game, although we’re a little bit disappointed because it feels like it could’ve been much more.

A Place for the Unwilling is a great game for those who are looking for something different, where you are in control of the experience. It isn’t perfect, and there are signs that reflect a challenging development, but it is something unique.

There is so much potential in Cyberpilot that it really feels like a wasted opportunity. It could be one of the best games in VR, but when things get interesting, it’s over.

The Blackout Club is great when played with friends, otherwise it becomes repetitive way too soon. The mission design is probably its weakest point, and we wonder if it wouldn’t had been a better idea to approach a more traditional adventure to make the most of its fantastic universe and story.

Songbird Symphony is interesting thanks to its implementation of rhythm mechanics. However, it isn’t very challenging, so more experience players might not find it appealing.

Youngblood is blast with friends, but its mission design is, in many occasions, just bad. This sort of open world approach could’ve worked, but not like this. If you like coop shooters you’ll have a good time, but bear in mind you’ll be facing some questionable checkpoints (or the lack of thereof) and walking up and down the same scenarios over and over.

Sky feels like an evolution of Journey: it shares some similarities, but also adds its own personality. They also share that magic, that something unique that you can’t find anywhere else.

Fantasy Strike wants to offer a fighting alternative for users who might not be into the main series or are just looking for an alternative. It has some shortcomings, but we thing it’s worth your time.

Three Houses is another masterpiece from the series, a must-have for Switch users fans of the franchise cannot miss. Intelligent Systems got everything right, from story to gameplay, and we can only ask you to give this fantastic adventure an opportunity.

Kill la Kill IF is a great adaptation, that nails the combat, the visuals and the tone of the series, but lacks content. However, if you’re a fan, you cannot miss it.

Redeemer is a game that doesn’t do anything new, but it’s fun to play if you’re looking for something simple and straightforward.

Etherborn is a very interesting puzzle game, very well designed and smart. We miss more progression gameplay-wise, but it’s a good choice for fans of the genre.

There is a lot of fun to be had in Ultimate Alliance 3. It isn’t perfect, however, if you’re a fan of the franchises it is based on you’ll have a great time.

Amid Evil is a new homage to 90’s FPS, but we think anyone can enjoy it thanks to its design, replayability and how fun it actually is.

Sairento is incredibly fun. Its gameplay just works, and allows us to do things we thought weren’t possible in VR. It’s a shame it doesn’t look particularly good, but its core is very, very solid.

Supraland is a fantastic adventure full of puzzles and explorations, a fantastic surprise that becomes one of our favorite indies from 2019.

Streets of Rogue is quiet interesting. It doesn’t do anything new, and if you’re going to play alone can be a little bit boring, but if you’re looking for a game to enjoy with friends, then it’s an option you should consider.

Guerrilla has aged quite well overall, although some aspects are definitely a little bit outdated. It isn’t a must have, but it does have some impressive moments and there’s a lot of fun to be had.
