If you like ‘survival horror’, there is a lot of surviving and horror here. The performance and controls are not as good as on PC, but the core experience remains untouched, and it still is a great choice for those who want a new take on the genre.

Team Sonic Racing is a very enjoyable game, even on your own, but we don’t understand why many of the features that made Transformed such a good and unique game have been removed. Its predecessor is a superior title, but Team Sonic Racing still is a good option of you like the series.

Creative Assembly has managed to make the series feel fresh without changing its core, delivering one of its best entries to date. It looks and plays great, and it comes with many, many hours of content.

Descenders just left its early access stage, and now we have a very promising core that players can start to enjoy. Thanks to its procedural nature and arcade design it’s pretty much endless, but we hope the developers keep adding more diversity and options to the experience.

A Plague Tale is a beautiful but dark adventure, about fear, death and love. It isn’t perfect, but it doesn’t try to bite more than it can chew, and delivers an experience where nothing feels redundant, and absorbs the player from beginning to end.

Sniper Elite is back, and that is always good news. This remaster can’t fix some of the issues of the original, but it definitely makes it more enjoyable in 2019.

RAGE 2 is a great shooter, but it is a step below other comebacks like Doom or Wolfenstein. Still, if you like shooters or open world games, you’ll have a good time with it.

Champions is focused on multiplayer, and that’s where it shines. It would’ve been good to have a few more options for single player, but if you’re interested in the more competitive side of Puyo Puyo, don’t miss it.

The Third holds up better that you might think, but this version definitely needed a little bit more of optimization and polishing. Technical issues and bugs get in the way too often, damaging the overall experience.

PC users can now enjoy another fantastic entry in the Yakuza series. This is one of our favorites, and the PC version lives up to the expectations.

Warparty is a great game if you want to get started in the genre, but for those with more experience in strategy games, it would end up being too simplistic.

Dark Devotion is full of imperfections, but it is also full of great ideas. If you like metroidvania games and the Dark Souls feeling, you should give it a try, since it does deliver a challenging but enjoyable adventure.

It doesn’t look great, and the idea might seem too simple, but the execution is great. It actually relies on simplicity to create a fun idea that simply works. A great option for fans of crafting.

Shakedown: Hawaii is a great take on the 2D GTA formula, that adds its own flavor. It’s full of content, it goes straight to the point and it’s a lot of fun. The sequel Retro City Rampage deserves.

Yuppie Psycho is like a crossover between The Office and Twin Peaks. It is weird, but it is also really good at what it does. If you want something original, this can be a very pleasant surprise.

This is a great tribute to Mega Man, particularly enjoyable if you like Capcom's franchise. However, it doesn’t do anything particularly relevant or original, and it is quite short as well.

Close to the Sun is a great adventure, similar to a walking simulator but deeper and more complex. It does a great job with the setting and the story, although it fails to make the most of its gameplay.

Fade to Silence is a good survival game, and it could’ve been much better if they had polished some aspects like the combat and the graphics. If you like the genre, you’ll probably enjoy it regardless of its shortcomings.

We don’t think Minecraft-ish graphics are a great choice for a horror game, but even leaving that aside, The Padre is very confusing and dull. It might have been a good comeback for the classic survival horror, but all its good ideas get lost in its very poor design.

Days Gone is a very enjoyable game, with a beautiful setting, some interesting ideas and a good story, but Bend Studio has bitten off more than it could chew, and it shows. It takes too many things from open-world adventures, and the execution doesn’t always live up to the expectations. Overall, it’s entertaining and solid, but a less ambitious project would’ve end up being better.

Pathway is an interesting roguelike with good ideas, and we think fans of the genre will enjoy it. The only problem, though, is that it can become very repetitive quite quickly, and the novelty can wear off.
