Prey is great game, with good ideas that are well-executed, and although it reminds us of other games, it has its own identity. If you like sci-fi games and value the freedom to play the way you want, don't miss it.

Statik is a great puzzle game, very clever in its execution, and it overcomes all the shortcomings of the PSVR technology. It can feel pricey considering its length and replayability, but whenever you think the price is right, make sure you play it.

It's a "evolution simulation" quite interesting, and although it has its flaws, it works quite well. A good choice for fans of the genre.

GNOG is an amazing game, that makes you discover feel like a kid. It's short, yes, but we think it's worth it... in VR. If you're planning on playing on a regular screen, the experience isn't that immersive, but it still is original and beautiful.

Although it has its flaws, it's a very enjoyable FPS, a tribute to the classics with great gameplay and, also, some questionable decisions.

This is a very challenging platformer with a quite unique idea, but quite generic in its execution. There are good ideas behind it, but its control doesn't work as it should, and the trial-and-error gameplay doesn't really help either.

This is an RPG that fans of the genre will definitely enjoy. It isn't very innovative, but it is fun.

It isn't the most original adventure of the year, but the way it switches between genres makes it very recommendable for those looking for a different type of adventure.

TumbleSeed is unique and different, and has very distinctive features. It's roguelike take on a skill-based game isn't for everyone, but if you like how it sounds, give it a try.

It's a good dungeon crawler, but it really shines when played with friends. Together with its remarkable audiovisual presentation, it's a very solid choice.

Late Shift is a very original idea, particularly for those who enjoy video games and cinema. If you fall under this description, consider giving it a try.

This isn't the best episode, but it has a purpose, and it does that well. It's the perfect story for what is yet to come.

If you enjoy narrative-based games, this one sets the bar higher and makes us thing we're still scratching the surface of the genre. A beautiful adventure that will be remembered.

We would be thrilled if Deformers were an 15$ game in early access, but its price doesn't match its content, and it doesn't feel like a final release. There seems to be a lot of content planned, so keep an eye on it because the foundations are really good and the game is fun, but it's hard to recommend at launch.

If you enjoy open world stealth games, this one will satisfy your needs. It's not an actual sandbox, but it offers a certain degree of freedom that makes it very interesting and rewarding.

This is a great sequel, bigger and better than the original. It delivers more DQ Heroes enhanced with very interesting additions, keeping the essence of the franchise while embracing the musou genre.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is a game that you always enjoy, no matter if it's for a short session or for a long one, and it works even better on a handheld. It's a shame its price is a little bit too high –we're sure some players will miss it because of it.

Technical issues aside, we've really enjoyed Syberia 3, thanks to its good story, memorable characters, clever puzzles and an outstanding art direction.

Outlast II is the perfect sequel: it keeps and improves all the good aspects of the original. It's intense and very scary –so much so we think it's already a new horror classic.

This is probably the best JRPG ever made in the West, aimed at players who miss the 16-bit aesthetic and enjoy a good story.

Little Nightmares is a wonderful adventure, but unsettling and grotesque at the same time. If you like games like Limbo and Inside, you cannot miss it, even though this one has its own personality.

This is the best and most complete Mario Kart to date, and it works beautifully on Switch. The additions are welcomed, and if you missed it on Wii U, you shouldn't make the same mistake on Switch.

As a remaster it is really good, but the game itself wasn't perfect back in the day, and all these years hadn't helped either. Still, it's the best way to play it if you haven't yet or if you feel nostalgic.

So far we have a very promising series, where Telltale tries to do some new things, even though they haven't fixed the issues we found in other of their works yet. In any case, if you like Guardians of the Galaxy and Telltale, it's a game you should try.

It's not the biggest RPG of the year, but it's a pretty good one. If you're looking for a good RPG adventure and you're happy with an original, Naruto-like system, have a look at this one.

This is a very interesting and challenging game, although it isn't as hard as other similar titles. It feels fresh, and if you like Hotline Miami-like action, it's a good choice.
