Guitar Hero focuses on a loyal public, but limited to certain ranges. Band Hero broadens the public offering a repertory rich and varied enough to attract anyone.

It has the flavour of the original Sonic, but refined. It may result too short for its price, but it is very replayable.

Pacific Drive blends survival, horror, and driving elements effectively, creating a tense and immersive experience. While its meticulous car management system adds depth, it can also make gameplay repetitive at times. Overall, it's a compelling adventure offering a constant sense of tension and survival in hostile environments.

The Theme Hospital experience is back, and it’s great. If you miss it, you should give it a try, as it not only brings back the essence, but also adapts it successfully to consoles.

Rollerdrome is a fantastic concept really well executed. There is still some room for improvement, hopefully for a sequel, but Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater fans have an interesting twist to the genre here they should try.

It still is a great mix of platforming and adventure, challenging and deep, and this is probably the best opportunity to try it.

The Callisto Protocol is like a game from the PS3/360 era. No open world, no RPG elements, and no other self-imposed AAA features that plague the industry these days. It’s a flawed game, but most important, it’s fun and intense, and we wish there were more games like it.

This is an excellent tactic RPG game, of epic and tragic character and with a noteworthy technical skill which will please every genre fan. It is a shame that, considering the complexity of the game, it hasn't been translated to Spanish.

There are some issues on the tech side, but it's a surprisingly good sandbox we think zombie fans will love.

Playtonic’s reimagining of Yooka-Laylee refreshes the original with smarter level design, smoother controls, and a charming new narrative twist, though limited graphical options and some performance issues hold it back slightly.

Ride 6 offers the series' most accessible and varied motorcycle experience, with diverse disciplines and circuits, making Ride Fest a compelling single-player mode. Although an evolution, not a revolution, its limited multiplayer, minimal graphical gains despite Unreal Engine 5, and inconsistent sound disappoint. Yet, it stands as the most complete and best option in the genre.

Capcom expands Monster Hunter Stories beyond its 3DS origins, now reaching PS4, Switch, and PC, offering an enhanced RPG experience with improved visuals and additional content, though the simplicity of its combat and story may feel somewhat dated compared to its superior sequel.

ITTA is a cleverly designed adventure that mixes up bullet hell and exploration. It’s a little bit short, but it’s a great experience for those who are interested in a challenge.

If you like ‘survival horror’, there is a lot of surviving and horror here. The performance and controls are not as good as on PC, but the core experience remains untouched, and it still is a great choice for those who want a new take on the genre.

A fascinating game. Simple and effective, long and full of content. The game knows how to deal with the player and manages its difficulty in an excellent way. Recommended if you're looking for a new challenge, a platform that makes you think or an original puzzle game.

Although the Wii version has been much criticized for its graphics (which are identical to this one), this portable version is a good game within the RPG genre, above all thanks to the possibilities of its excellent multiplayer mode.

A surprising and admirable game, one of the best for Xbox Live Arcade this year. If you are looking for a frantic shoot'em up you should look at other games, but those willing to explore the space in a deep and engaging game will have a lot of fun.

Tom Clancy's Endwar is a very good strategy game, a experience that no genre fan should let escape, because the sensation of having under our command such a number of troops who obey our orders is just fantastic. Its biggest problem, though, is its shallowness in strategic options in comparison with what we are used to seeing on PC.

This is a low-effort adaptation, but the games are fantastic. We don’t love some of the ideas introduced in the second entry, but both titles have created a new subgenre, and having them available on Switch is great news.

It delivers an exceptional extraction shooter experience defined by Bungie’s signature gunplay and an addictive, roguelike progression loop. While the atmosphere is immersive and the endgame content is thrilling, the cumbersome interface and steep learning curve create unnecessary friction. It is a brilliant, high-stakes rebirth that demands patience despite its clunky menus.
