Its gameplay is delicious and shows us how to make the most of a simple concept through 70 levels that last for hours.

Playing with Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 is a satisfying experience with some seldom frustrating situations derived from choices in the design of the capture system. Combat are intense, fun and attractive, but the real focus is in the monster synthesizer, which shines.

A game with anything remarkable, but without flaws. One of those Japanese roleplaying game that are very classic and follow the tradition, without evolving the gameplay, but with compelling graphics, a good story and a nice blend of elements that doesn't focus solely on combat. It won't make history, but is a fun game.

A typical expansion which adds new options and missions to the main game and is a good choice for series followers. Although it adds new content, it doesn't bring anything really new in graphics or gameplay mechanics, so those looking for new things to do should think twice.

It has lost a good opportunity to become one of the surprises of the year because it has good ideas in its proposal, between a movie and a game. The story is typical, but able to engage us, but its gameplay is too lackluster and repetitive.

The most solid game in the series and also a materpiece of storytelling, which raises again the bar of visual quality in consoles. It adds new elements to its gameplay to avoid aging, and provides a great multiplayer mode offering tons of options. A must-have for PS3 owners and one of the best games of the year.

It is not as surprising as Arkham Asylum, but it improves upon it, updating and enhancing all its elements, and also allowing us to feel like Batman patrolling the troubled streets of Gotham. Although with few new features in gameplay, it is the best Batman game ever made, and one of the best games of this year.

A decent proposal that follows the path of the series, but although it is supposed to be free, actually it is a very limited version with a lot of DLC to unlock after paying for it. Nonetheless, the game is still a good one, although a bit far from what we've come to expect from Katamari.

A significant twist in the Ratchet and Clank series that won't let any of its fans indifferent. Those who wanted a change will like it, but the ones who expected the same action and platforming mechanics might be dissapointed. As a cooperative game, it falls midway between styles. It has shooting, but there are many games better at this, and its platform sections are good, although maybe too simple.

Ugly Americans deserved a better game. Maybe within the same genre, but better though and executed. Gameplay-wise it may be interesting during the first minutes, but this sensations vanishes early, unveiling a repetitive and very limited videogame.

It has a very classic proposal, face to face combat without much thinking, and it works as a free game, being on of the greatest, indeed. But we miss some more options for cooperative play, and also better visuals.

A decent console version that adds cats and dogs to the Sims formula, which makes it more fun. But the buggy adaptation makes the experience poorer, although this is a good game.

Although not a very complete game in comparison with previous entries of the series, and not original anymore, it offers a hundred of interesting and challenging levels.

A very good football game that has a great manager mode as its main new feature. As a football simulator, it is also great.

A decent rally game, and the only simulator, considering the arcade path the Colin McRae/DIRT series has taken. It makes the most of the official license, providing plenty of cars, tracks and competitions, a long and fun career mode, with a demanding, yet satisfying driving. However, its outdated visuals will disappoint many.

An update that brings the series to current times. Maybe some of its changes will disappoint series followers, but it is as addictive as always. Classic gameplay, a great campaign, good community features and a great artistic design, this sixth entry in the series provides hours of fun.

This is overall the same game from last year, but with another main character. This change allows for new moves, new motivations for the main character and the addition of the camera, which changes and improves gameplay, but the content is almost the same, and it is difficult to recommend the game for those who already have the original, except for hardcore fans.

Namco Bandai has showed that air combat games can be as thrilling and spectacular as first-person shooters. Every wargame fan should give the game a try, even those who have never tried a flight simulator game, for its great new gameplay features.

The rebirth of the NBA Jam series has found his ideal channel of distribution, with a new version which returns to the classic style of the original arcade. It has many changes in comparison with the game of last year, and it drops some of its features, but adds others which compensates for. A very interesting option with a good price.
