For its great varierty and frantic pace, it will please both classic action gamers and zombie game fans, providing they want to go through an overwhelming experience of massive attacks, with hundreds of enemies trying to kill you.

Capcom delivers a visually striking and mechanically unique blend of strategy and action that performs surprisingly well on Switch 2, with fluid gameplay and solid visuals despite some texture pop-in and occasional frame drops; the new mouse mode adds intuitive exploration but feels clunky in combat, though thankfully it's optional.

This is basically more Final Fantasy XIV, and that's great news. We miss something really surprising or innovative, but still, this is a great experience that lives up to the expectation of Final Fantasy's 14th episode.

A extremely pleasant surprise that deserves a break from all those action games to be enjoyed. The innocence of these two brothers is one of the best downloadable games of the year.

Although it may seem that Guitar Hero 5 is just an update of the last year edition, the truth is that the new features, the improvements in the interface and the track list make it the best installment of the series in the last years.

A fantastic metroidvania that, in terms of gameplay, does almost everything masterfully and marks the triumphant return of one of the most legendary video game sagas. It has exquisite controls, outstanding level design, incredibly rewarding platforming sections, a very fun combat system with a very varied bestiary and memorable bosses, and a generous amount of content. Its story and narrative leave something to be desired, graphically it is not very impressive and it does not escape some programming errors, but if you like the genre and missed this mythical saga, here you have a great game with which to start the year in the best possible way.

It brings back the formula seen on consoles, so this should be enough to picture what it has to offer: many hours of fun, a great gameplay, and loads of secrets, achievements, tricks and contents waiting to be unlock. We only miss multiplayer modes, but still is a very recommended option.

Minecraft is one of those games that everyone must try. You can stop playing for a month and return, to discover how many new features there are for us to try. A game that makes you feel like a child again, and one of the most remarkable ones in the last few years.

Pistol Whip is one of the best experiences we’ve ever had in VR. A fusion between Time Crisis and a rhythm game, cleverly designed, fun and challenging. A must have for PSVR owners.

In fact, aside from some potential quality-of-life improvements that weren't implemented, the only real drawback is the fact that the two titles weren't included as they were originally conceived in the late eighties. This would have allowed players, both seasoned veterans and newcomers, to see how the genre has evolved and the enormous importance this franchise had in defining many other classics that have provided us with countless hours of entertainment. If you're a fan of the franchise, it's a no-brainer. If not, it's the perfect opportunity to delve into the origins of the JRPG with modern touches. Don't miss out.

The unexpected gem from Tango Gameworks, Hi-Fi Rush, hits PlayStation 5 with its addictive gameplay, delightful presentation, and plenty of humor. Its rhythmic combat system, though initially challenging, adds depth and excitement to battles, while the incorporation of DualSense features enhances immersion without being intrusive. Despite some minor platforming sections, it remains a standout title, solidifying Tango Gameworks' departure from horror into more light-hearted adventures.

Action roguelike enthusiasts should give this title a chance, as it offers a highly enjoyable and addictive formula with deep and customizable combat, meticulous attention to audiovisual and narrative aspects. However, the initial hours of gameplay might be confusing, and the absence of Spanish language support despite a rich narrative could be a drawback.
