Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus for sure is one of the best FPS games available today, with beautiful graphics, environments, deep history without exaggerated appeal and with maximum enjoyment with experience that this kind of game can provide to the owners of Nintendo Switch. For sure, is a high-recommendation for fans of shooting games.

The emulation quality is decent and it’s a worthwhile way to get to know a bit more about SNK’s history as well as enjoy a great amount of content from such an experimental time in gaming.

The House of the Dead: Overkill is a peculiar game. Although it has exorbitant errors, they point out the game's style. However, they're there and there's a difference between "poetic license" and laziness. One thing for sure: Overkill is one of the best games for the Wii lately because it exudes the feel it wishes to express.

Cotton Fantasy is a celebration of 30 years of the Cotton franchise that shows very well all the evolution and affection that the series has had over the years. Classic, challenging and affordable. Perfect for those who like to compete for high scores, challenge themselves or even just play casually.

Fun, deep and full of content, Mortal Kombat 11 is a complete fighting package. However, little performance and aesthetic problems, as well as the reliance on an internet connection to play single player content, prevent the game from achieving its true potential on Switch.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a true piece of art and very well done in a way that we can understand the relationships between the Zelda family, the champions and Link in facing this war against Calamity Ganon. Even those who are not familiar with the genre, I believe that this game is an invitation and takes the Warriors franchise to another level easily.

Darq is absolute when creating a dark and dense environment. The game has clever and thought-provoking puzzles, as well as impeccable art direction. The love Unfold Games had when creating it is clearly observed, and that is enough to include it among the highlights of the genre. The lack of a more elaborate story and the short duration of the game can be a negative point, but these factors are far from spoiling the experience, which is very satisfying.

Tormented Souls is a great option for survival horror fans, especially for those who love the original Resident Evil and Silent Hill games. Despite a few technical hiccups, it's a 10-hour adventure that will keep you with your eyes wide open and your heart beating fast until the end.

Don't buy Theatrhythm if you do not have access to at least one Final Fantasy, because it's impossible not to want to play them all again after having fun with their soundtracks.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond didn’t revolutionize the series the same way the first Metroid Prime did. It introduces new ideas, but doesn’t fully explore their potential. That being said, this new first-person action-adventure starring Samus Aran is a worthy entry in the Metroid universe, featuring the most challenging and engaging battles in the Prime series, an epic narrative with memorable boss fights, charismatic characters, and a more fluid exploration experience (backtracking included) than its predecessors. Add to that beautifully crafted graphics and arguably one of the best original soundtracks the Prime series has ever offered.

Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Dry Twice is full of adventures, interactions with other characters, several sexual jokes, auxiliary items to advance the story and also the presence of some minigames. The game offers good gameplay duration, great graphics and a very fun story.

Anno: Mutationem is not just one more Indie game on the market, it's a must buy for those who want a fulfilling experience in a Cyberpunk universe. Although a little rough around some edges, like the NPC dialogues and imprecise jumps, there is nothing that spoils the great experience this game provides.

Caravan SandWitch is an enjoyable, unhurried journey, which is a bit at odds with the main plot. Exploration and puzzle solving are great for relaxing. Unfortunately, the optimization in the console version leaves something to be desired and may frustrate some players. I'm looking forward to seeing this team's next work.

Dragon’s Dogma is one of Capcom’s most ambitious RPGs and it’s Switch version also impresses. It’s a great title to be played on the go, especially because the whole adventure can take up to dozens of hours.

My Friend Pedro is a very interesting indie game that focuses in it’s gameplay. Master its different mechanics, obtain bigger scores and make true mayhem without ever stopping is the game’s main point. It requires a certain dexterity from the player, but it rewards him with a great show of blood, bullets and bananas.

KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series is a best-selling collection that brings back a different platformer that has been hailed by many, but its different approach may take newcomers by surprise. Even with a good focus on narrative, the campaign added to the collection is very short.

Life is Strange: True Colors follows the tradition of the franchise's best games, bringing a rich and deep story, impeccable art and a perfect soundtrack. It is, in my opinion, the best port of 2021, and a game that nobody who likes the genre can miss.

Fans of sports games or RPGs may hate the game and its weird control system, whilst those who are away from both genres may find something different and satisfying. Those who endure the first three hours and get used to the controls will find a long campaign, with up to 20 hours of gameplay. When you get there, though, you will be tired of that much soccer and of the absurd that will carry you until the final match.
