Playing RayForce is a lot like taking class A drugs. Not that you load up the game and attempt to smoke your iPhone (that doesn't work, I've tried it), but the trippy, swirling graphical effects thrown at you while playing have roughly the same effect as prancing about in a sweat soaked warehouse rave, off your face on an Ecstasy pill.- TouchGen

Caverns of Minos is a highly playable, funny take on Lunar Lander and chopper rescue games from the past. The brilliant, and unique controls paired with a visual flurry of sensations the game is hard to stop playing. Get Caverns of Minos, dim the lights, put headphones on and go crazy.- TouchGen

The touch controls could be more responsive, and the music leaves much to be desired. Other than that I was pleasantly surprised by Greedy Penguins.- TouchGen

Smash Cops is a cool action racer based around stopping fugitives by ramming them. It takes skill to master, and it is a real joy unlocking new cars and levels. The game could do with better music, or at least the option to use your own playlist. However, the excellent graphics, innovative controls and intense action still makes it an easy recommendation in my book.- TouchGen

Despite this gripe, Star Marine: Infinite Ammo offers up a fun and action packed ride. It's a worthy addition to any iOS gamers' library, particularly if you yearn for those 16bit action-platformers from the Super Nintendo and SEGA MegaDrive days.- TouchGen

Pocket League Story has some great moments of fun when you finally beat that hard as nails team, or manage to get a superstar player for the first time. It is also a lesson in boredom with the drawn out matches with little interactivity.- TouchGen

Super Crate Box is a fun game with excellent presentation, and a quick twitchy gameplay easy to get hooked on. There are some issues with the controls, and collision detection cramping the quality quite a bit. Still it is one of the most fun games you can play on your device at the moment.- TouchGen

Street Wrestler will just about keep you going to the end with it's wacky storyline and sense of humour, but after that, you won't want to come back to it much. It's lack of depth and flimsy combat hurts it in that regard. Forget not the gravitas, gamer.- TouchGen

I'm quite surprised Chillingo published this, it's sub-standard compared to their usual quality, particularly after we gave them the 'Studio of the year' nod just last week.- TouchGen

It feels important, and interesting to complete a level. The story, and how it is presented is pure brilliance. If the game had been longer, and had some variation to the gameplay it would have shone even brighter.- TouchGen

It isn't real football at all; I played real football last week, and I can assure you it left me patently more tired than swiping my fingers across an iPad screen.- TouchGen

Mad Dog McCree is only for those with fond memories of the original. It is priced way too high to warrant a purchase for anyone not familiar with the game. At $0.99 it could have been a glimpse back in nostalgia. Mad Dog McCree brought something new twenty years ago, and that is exactly how tired and old it feels.- TouchGen

Its blend of beautiful graphics and sound, compelling platforming, challenging puzzles and of course the intuitive one-finger controls, makes it one not to miss, and a perfect way to round off a great year in iOS gaming.- TouchGen

It's all a little garish, as are most of Cave's games! The story too makes little sense, but then again, who cares! This game is all about blowing shit up amongst a bevy of bullets. And for that reason it's a rip-roaring success.- TouchGen

Ravenmark: Scourge of Estellion is one of the most comprehensive turn based strategy games for iOS. For the strategy gamer it is a must buy, and it will definitely give you a lot of challenge. For the newcomer to the genre all the information, and options might be overwhelming.- TouchGen

A good entry in the point and click adventure genre. It brings it's own brand of humour that is more cheesy and clumsy than the irrationalities of Monkey Island or puerile nonsense I love about Hector. If you want an adventure spanning the entire galaxy you can't go wrong with Kaptain Brawe.- TouchGen

Act of Fury is a perfect fit for the iPhone; it's uncomplicated, good looking, and probably the easiest game to pick up and play that I've, er…picked up and played. It's also cruel, frustrating, and at times you'll swear it's just being unfair.- TouchGen

The experience isn't that rewarding, and in the end you might feel that you actually wasted bandwidth downloading the 422 MB. Freemium games can be good, but in the case of Six-Guns it feels like a way to avoid spending time writing a proper story.- TouchGen

There are some issues to the port of The Bard's Tale, but they pale in comparison to the vast amount of fun the game is. I feel really interested in finding the princess, and climbing towers filled with enemies to reach her. The characters feel genuine, and I can sympathize with the frustration he feels when he tries to negotiate with the multiple Bodbs.- TouchGen

I for one would have preferred to delay the release and wait instead for the full featured game, with online play. Having said that, the single player game is strong enough to stand on it's own two feet without online play, and I wouldn't want you to miss it for the world.- TouchGen
