    Featuring new stadiums, new characters, new game modes, and plenty of new gear to work toward, Homerun Battle 2 offers the same great experience as the first with just enough fresh content to encourage veterans to make the jump to the sequel.

    All-in-all the game is pretty addictive. It is very fun to play and you will want to keep coming back to keep beating players and getting high scores.

    Though the game is extremely fun, it is certainly not worth its current $4.99 price. When you top that off with the additional lure of microtransactions within the game itself, it makes me wonder why it even costs anything to begin with.

    Homerun Battle 2 has all the elements that made the original such a hit and more. It's fun, it's easy to learn and it'd keep you occupied for a considerable amount of time. Unfortunately, it also exemplifies everything that I dislike about this type of pay model.

    The initial fun just isn't worth the frustration when you start losing online matches because your opponents are willing to spend way more cash than you are.
