The double-tap for confirmation system is something I believe no game should have, and what seems to be a deliberately obscure menu system (and the fact you have to register to access the game's main features), is a bit iffy, but once you start playing the game proper, you certainly find it hard to stop. Remember, it's 100% or nothing.- TouchGen

Be Together is one of the best physics puzzles lately combining cute graphics, excellent level design and high production values. Loads of achievements, hours of puzzles and the feelgood game design make it hard to quit playing.- TouchGen

Its blend of beautiful graphics and sound, compelling platforming, challenging puzzles and of course the intuitive one-finger controls, makes it one not to miss, and a perfect way to round off a great year in iOS gaming.- TouchGen

Box Cat was a surprise to me hitting me with simple, yet addictive fun gameplay. The presentation is perfectly suited for the game, and it is easy to get hooked by the catchy chiptune soundtrack. Box Cat comes highly recommended, as a quick arcade fix with lasting power.- TouchGen

While the presentation is very slick, with cute and well drawn characters and background art, and easy to navigate menus… not to mention the extremely catchy music (you know you are in trouble when you catch yourself whistling it!) the gameplay on-the-other-hand is lacklustre for its genre, falling short when compared to the likes of Angry Birds and Cut the rope.- TouchGen

The game controls great and looks fantastic. The story might not be worth writing home about, but it at least paints a well known historical figure with a new twist. Was Noah a cold-hearted monster? Probably not, but at least Chillingo is willing to think outside the box.- TouchGen

A fantasy filled slice of wonder. It comes as no surprise to me that many aspects of this game reminds me of kids shows – old and new – as I think it will be kids that will get the most from this game.- TouchGen

While Fibble isn't the game you'd expect from Crytek, it is a good example of the puzzle genre. By melding solid touch-screen controls, physics-based challenges, and state of the art graphics, it showcases what iOS gaming is capable of. Strip away the visuals, and you are still left with a solid puzzler which is great fun from beginning to end.- TouchGen

I look forward to Xenome Episode 2, and hopefully Nine Pound Studios will hire someone to create interesting missions tying up the story.- TouchGen

A pretty neat physics collection of canned mini-games. The graphics are pretty beautiful and the physics effects are definitely the highlight. The only negative thing about it is the lack of variety.- TouchGen

This is one game where less is more, and where your performance can set a new personal best in one playthrough, but barely get a quarter of the way through the level the next. Most importantly, it's one where if you brake for too long you'll end up several miles beneath the earth. Eek.- TouchGen

At the end of the day, despite some shortcomings, and with the promise of multiplayer to come, FIFA 11 feels like the most complete version of soccer to hit the AppStore.- TouchGen

Roar Rampage is a fun game of destruction that sadly lacks lasting appeal. There is very little variation besides customizing the look of the dino. It does however offer a cool new perspective of the action I loved as a kid in Rampage.- TouchGen

Army of Darkness Defense is a fun take on castle defense, and definitely a must buy if you are a fan of the trilogy or Bruce Campbell. Limited game life, strategic planning and variation draws the final impression down. Playing as Ash is always cool, and just like earlier games featuring Ash the quality isn't the best but it is still great fun.- TouchGen

Fleeced! – Shear Terror is a hard game to rate due to the fact that it has two faces. The single player turns stale quickly, and the tilt control annoys quite a bit. In a hectic match versus a human the controls aren't as disturbing.- TouchGen

Hardcore shooter fans will no doubt love the challenge - including the ferocious boss battles, and the extended score attack and challenge modes. But I fear that casual gamers, or newcomers, may struggle to progress from the early levels and simply give up too early in frustration.- TouchGen

Also a good thing is that screeching to a halt just before the last flag to successfully complete a stunt – especially one of the trickier ones – is actually quite satisfying. It's pretty much all you could ask for in a game like this which probably has hundreds of relatives in the AppStore. Go then, strap on your helmet, rev your engine, and try not to fall into a canyon. Katie Cowpusher wouldn't be happy with that.- TouchGen

Smash Cops is a cool action racer based around stopping fugitives by ramming them. It takes skill to master, and it is a real joy unlocking new cars and levels. The game could do with better music, or at least the option to use your own playlist. However, the excellent graphics, innovative controls and intense action still makes it an easy recommendation in my book.- TouchGen

The kind of 99 cent game I like to see on the app store. The gameplay is frantic, and the birds are cute. It's not super deep, but has enough challenges to keep you coming back. It takes advantage of the iPad with "HD" graphics and some great animations,- TouchGen

There's also a cool multiplayer mode which sees you go up against three other players in an attempt to see who can crash first…excuse me, stay in the air the longest. It's an enjoyable extra.- TouchGen

So blame me for this review being a badly disguised commentary on gaming in 2012 if you want, just don't blame me for the score. That's EA's fault.- TouchGen

The game mechanics is fun, and easy to understand. The lasting power of the game is low though, as you have to restart from the slow beginning upon death.- TouchGen

Mr. Dreamer is a fresh single tap runner game that is in need of some direction when it comes to progression. Without proper missions it soon becomes boring and pointless. Before Tiny Wings, and Jetpack Joyride we were content with just going for high scores, but now we want more from a game.- TouchGen
