This is that game that will change your mind on story driven games. As soon as you get caught up in the story, Banner Saga will give you a ride well worth the price of admission.

Treasure Fetch - Adventure Time has a great art style going for it and some interesting arenas, but the gameplay isn't nearly as fetching as you'd expect it to be.

Fans of TD aren’t necessarily looking for a revolution in gameplay — sometimes all that’s needed is a fresh set of paint, incremental improvements, and some lasting, enjoyable gameplay. Cursed Treasure 2 squarely falls in that latter category which makes it worth a pick-up in my view.

Turbo Dismount is a full fledged desktop sandbox game that feels like it had to shed a few pounds to fit into the iOS format.

While it's very derivative of that game, it at least feels like it justifies its existence beyond its surface theme.

The amount of content in the game is more than worth that asking price, but even if you don't feel the same way, you can still play the game, albeit with some slightly annoying ads. That's a pretty fair deal no matter how you slice it.

Tactics Maiden is an excellent strategy RPG that any fan of the genre should try out.

If you've got even a little bit of love for the single-screen action games that used to dominate the hobby, you'll want to pick this up and start counting sheep immediately.

All of these systems combined make for a game that's unfriendly to the point of being opposed to the player, when it could have been so much more fun if turned down the heat a bit.

The game's cheerfulness sometimes threatens to overwhelm its subject matter, but its mostly used as a bulwark against, and an intensifier for, the terror of World War I.

With a price point of $0, you owe it to yourself to at least give the game a shot. If nothing else, even if you totally hate it, it's worth paying attention to just to see how its very strange monetization model plays out in the long run.

Definitely, Anomaly Defenders is more of a traditional tower defense game, and it is a well-worn genre. And I'm pretty sure that the game will feel more special to those familiar with Anomaly already because it uses so much of the language of previous games.

While unlockables do enhance replayability, they still pale in comparison to how great it would be to play against other human beings. Normally I don't isolate a single feature and harp on it, but it really seems to be set up to be a an amazing multiplayer game... that just happens to not have multiplayer.

It's a pleasant, well-written short story that takes place in an exciting world of pirates and the high seas, as grounded or as fantastical as you want it to be.

I really think Joinz is a flawed game, but I think the moments where it's in its groove are really, really good. That strategic tension of trying not to make the one fatal screwup is a hallmark of great games. It just makes a few missteps along the way to being great.

For a new IP, WWE SuperCard manages to hang with the best of them. Even without purchasing cards left and right you can still enjoy yourself, which is great news for skeptics or WWE fans.

Really, it's hard to find anything to complain about with Fotonica. It's such a cool experience, is masterfully crafted, and really rewards playing it again and again. Definitely check this one out.

That said, if you're looking for something truly unique and don't mind taxing your brain and reflexes in a slightly different way than you might be used to, Kapsula is a very solid and worthy pick-up.

Admittedly, there's not a lot to Shoot The Moon beyond its core premise, and if you have no interest in score chasing, you won't find much here beyond the brief gag of the moon being so obnoxious.

If you've played Girls Like Robots or Joining Hands and enjoyed them, you should definitely check out Partyrs. It's not going to surprise you all that much, but it certainly provides a solid shot of puzzle gameplay with its own unique art style and mild gameplay twists. On the other hand, if you didn't get into similar games, or perhaps got your fill from them, Partyrs might not be your kind of party.

Perhaps those with a lot of patience will absolutely love Phantom Rift, and maybe I'm just more impatient than the teenager I was when I fell in love with this style of play in the MMBN games. But Phantom Rift could just be so, so, much better, even if what it does well it does really, really well.

I'd love to see Duke Dashington expanded on from here, I think there's more that can be done with the concept in either new content or finding new ways to play that existing content. But for a mobile-friendly platformer, I sure had fun with Duke Dashington.

I feel like if you were going to buy Goblin Sword, you've already done it. It's such a crazy value and has such good production quality it kind of speaks for itself.
