Exclusively looking at the gameplay of Angry Birds 2, this is the best Angry Birds yet. Throwing in additional randomization spices things up a bit, the "boss fights" are really neat, and all the other little additions here and there (Like fans, flowers that spit blocks for some reason, and other strange things) make playing the game a ton of fun.

With epic action, soapy drama, conflicts between gods, plenty of romance, and interesting quests that take you to a variety of places both mundane and extraordinary, this piece of interactive fiction is certainly worthy of being called a champion in its own right.

Overall Battle Orbs is a good puzzle battler with simple elements of adventure that you can easily grab and leave for short periods of time anywhere you go.

If you like Hearthstone and social RPGs like Puzzles & Dragons, this could really be your new favorite game. If you have a low tolerance for free-to-play junk and don’t have a lot of time to put into grinding up a nice stable of diverse characters and cards, then I probably lost you a while ago anyway.

I can certainly appreciate Mangobile wanting to try something different before diving into making another hardcore SRPG, and for a first attempt outside that milieu, Earth Vs. Balloons is surprisingly well-rounded.

There is a lot to love about this game. If you ever feel stuck, change up your approach. You might be surprised at the variety.

Thankfully, Agar.io is actually free, and doesn't have any IAP of any kind yet. Although it could stand to use a few tweaks over time, for all these reasons and more, I highly recommend it.

Warhammer 40K: Deathwatch is a gorgeous game with strong design backing it. The campaign is big and meaty, and it presents a fun challenge that will test your tactical skills.

If you love Crossy Road but wish it took place in a different setting, had a little more variation, and was harder, then Down the Mountain is a solid download for sure

Exsilium has a few design problems, but overall it hits the spot if you're looking for a casual dungeon crawler. Just don't expect the world and play it on a tablet and you should be fine.

It's a solid experience that I'm amused by, and am curious to see what they do with new levels, because the game explores so much of its concept as it is.

Puzzle Sweeper is a game I desperately want to love. It has a pleasant art style, a neat gimmick, and is pretty fun overall. However, as a fairly big Minesweeper nut, I’ve seen a lot of these games come and go and it takes something really special to turn my head.

It's always great to see a game with a new angle on a somewhat exhausted genre, and Hero Fighter X more than lives up to both its lineage and its promise.
