If you don't find yourself even slightly amused that a vertical shooter now exists revolving solely around the font Helvetica, you're probably better off sticking with some of the other more colorful shooters out there. However, if you're the kind of person who smugly lists Helvetica first whenever defining the font-family attribute, you need this game.

My one knock on the game involves the physics. They feel stiff.

If all we were talking about here was the original release, we'd be talking about an awesome game. But the new PongVaders Max takes it to the next level.

The strategy the game forces you to use in choosing which humans to sacrifice to save the rest of the population from the zombie infection is a unique gameplay element that we enjoyed.

I just spent the entirety of a two and a half hour flight knocking out marbles with my puck, never finding it turn tedious.

If you enjoyed the original, there is absolutely no reason to not pick up the sequel. They took everything about the original, freshened it up, and repackaged it in to something that feels like an entirely new game instead of just an expansion of the first.

If you can get past the MMO grind– a fact made easier by the regular PvP battlegrounds that are a real spectacle– IMO has alot going for it in both its social features and its huge game world.

Action Buggy is one of those games where the average game session is measured in seconds rather than minutes, but in that elusive "success is just another try away" way.

The best part of this whole game, is that no dragon would ever invest in it. Also, if your primary region is the US App Store, you can't even download this game if you wanted to.

By the end of the 20 levels, Popstar Physics feels more like an add-on pack of levels for Save Toshi than a verifiable sequel, but considering it's free for the time being, it's difficult to complain. The new mechanics show a lot of promise and although the core remains the same, the switch from "save" to "crush" is interesting enough you'll likely be begging for more.

Mini Meteors isn't the most elegant or original game I've played, but it is a good take on gameplay that I haven't seen before on iOS.

Minor gripe aside, you get a ton of bang for your buck with Mexiball, which has basically become synonymous with all of Donut Games' releases.

Like any good game, Firefly Hero's strength lies in its level-design and its pacing. The difficulty certainly ramps up quickly, but at no point does a screen feel impossible to pass.

Kung Fu Panda 2 delivers two games which, although not as good as the originals, are well implemented casual games, which are fun to play.

It's super cute, it's fun, and it's free. Is there a better recipe for success?

For a simple puzzle game, it doesn't get much better than this. The graphics are both bright and colorful, and as expected, gameplay is a ton of fun.

iQuarterback 2 is definitely a lot of fun. The gameplay is simplistic, but the upgrading aspect is a real hook, and the crazy items you can unlock along the way are great motivation to keep playing.
