Hades II builds upon the excellent foundation of its predecessor, expanding it magnificently with more weapons, enemies, biomes, objectives, and much more to accomplish in an experience that also delights both the eyes and ears. It undoubtedly ranks among the best titles of the year.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach shows that Hideo Kojima took seriously all the feedback from the previous game, delivering a sequel that is much more varied, engaging, and even more chaotic at times. Its vast amount of content, fascinating characters, and stunning graphics make it one of the best games of the year and an experience that no one should miss.

Virtuos studio development of Nier Automata: The End of Yorha Edition was incredible and outstanding. It is a port of a game that we didn't know we needed on Nintendo Switch. Sure, it's not a perfect game, but it does the job of providing a solid experience that you will enjoy. The experience of this work by Yoko Taro is worth it from a Nintendo Switch.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles marks the return of one of the most memorable games in Square Enix's history. One can easily argue that it also stands as one of the best Final Fantasy titles ever. Furthermore, with its core gameplay mechanics intact and the necessary quality of life adjustments, a game that had aged remarkably well now rejuvenates to demonstrate that it still possesses the foundations to be one of the greatest tactical RPGs in history.

Hades on PS5 works perfectly. The resolution and textures look bright, colorful, and have very good quality. Sure, this is a version that doesn't take advantage of what the DualSense can offer, however that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed. This game is a must-play, regardless of the platform.

Silent Hill F demonstrates that the franchise still possesses substantial vitality, delivering a game that recaptures the tension and psychological horror of the original trilogy while introducing an engaging evolution in combat and a narrative that rivals the best in the series, inviting repeated engagement. No fan of either the franchise or the genre should overlook it.

Dead Space is a remake that manages to surpass the original entry. Its story feels complex, and the gameplay mechanics are more robust than in the first game. It should serve as an example for any upcoming remake that wants to pay homage to the original work while making changes to enhance its impact with audiences old and new.

Alan Wake II makes the 13-year wait worth it with a very ambitious sequel. Alan Wake II story is one of the most interesting and engaging in Remedy's story as a video game developer and gives equal weight to both protagonists. This game's decision to go for survival horror gives us one of the best experiences of the genre, with mechanics that take advantage of each of its characters. It's a game that feels like two in one, which everyone should try.

In technical terms, the PC version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is highly functional, whether playing on a PC with all the benefits of current technology or on the trendy handheld that sometimes feels outdated. Everything that made Square Enix's game great on consoles lives up to its brilliance in this port.

Persona 5 Royal is a title for every video game lover. The style and art direction have characterized it and finished establishing the franchise. Its arrival on new consoles will only allow more people to enjoy one of the best games that Atlus has made with this team. The only problem is its enormous duration that, for some, could seem unnecessary amid excellent character development that immerses the player in their world.

Final Fantasy XVI is a bet by Square Enix that went very well. His coming-of-age transition gives us one of the most complex stories in the franchise, and its frenetic combat could draw more people into this long-running saga. Its high narrative quality, exciting battles, and extraordinary visuals make this video game an experience everyone should try.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has enough arguments to be a great game, not just a simple sequel. Link's new abilities change how players enjoy the franchise, and even the world feels much more open than in Breath of the Wild. The downside is that, at various times, the scenarios feel empty and add little to the adventure. Sometimes the shrines are more challenging to solve, the boss battles are memorable and exciting, and the game invites you to be brave at all times because now, the goal to save the day is more meaningful.

Resident Evil 4 Remake manages to maintain the spirit of the original but gives it a huge graphic improvement and changes to the gameplay that feel like a great success. It never stops surprising and its pace makes you not want to let go of control, even after reaching the credits. Capcom again gives us an example of what a remake should do.

Hogwarts Legacy fully lives up to its promise to take you on the role of a new student at Hogwarts and introduce you to the famous Wizarding World immortalized in the Harry Potter movies. However, the experience continues beyond there. The narrative values of the story are high. The progression does have significant development. The characters always have something to tell you about the adventure. Avalanche Software developed an experience that fans will love and those outside of the Magical World will want to know.

Team Asobi demonstrated through Astro Bot that video games don't need to be pretentious to be fun. The only issue this title has is its excessive reverence for the PS5, which, while a good console, isn't necessarily changing this generation of gaming. Beyond that, we have an excellent title with a high level of replayability that immerses you in a world full of adventures, reminding you that a game should provide plenty of entertainment and not headaches.

God of War Ragnarok is an epic action adventure game. The story is solid. It uniquely interprets Norse mythology and takes you by the hand through an entertaining narrative. The combat mechanics fully serve their purpose, and the progression system goes hand in hand with exploring the 9 Kingdoms, which was a great idea. We will talk for a long time about God of War Ragnarok for everything it contributed to gaming in a time when games are developed between two generations with very different capabilities.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Nintendo Switch 2 stands as a surprisingly solid port. Midgar looks spectacular thanks to its lighting, and the package includes Episode INTERmission. In exchange, the game runs at 30fps, uses a softer resolution, and shows inconsistent textures in areas such as the Slums, along with occasional upscaling artifacts. Even so, the combat excels, the story shines, and the docked mode maintains strong stability.
