For those who are fans of the fantasy action genre and who overlooked this almost-classic first time around, I would strongly suggest you not let the negative criticism keep you from missing you on this incredible ride.- Thunderbolt

Bottom line: Get this game. If you’re a newcomer to the series and have been curious as to what everyone’s raving about, give this a shot. The AI may be brutal in later levels, but the learning curve and well-crafted Practice Mode will serve you well.- Thunderbolt

For those of you that are considering adding Jam Sessions to your collection, be warned: this is not a game. Instead, it’s a program that basically turns your DS into a makeshift guitar. It fulfils that job well; the sound is remarkably crisp and accurate, the controls are easy to pick up, and some guitarists might appreciate all of the little tweaks and customizations available. But when it comes to the other gameplay aspects, Jam Sessions falls flat.- Thunderbolt

This is a pick-up-and-play game in its purest form, albeit with a uniquely tropical control set-up that hasn’t been utilised anywhere else before, sans its neglected prequel.- Thunderbolt

Perhaps the series peaked with 2K7, after-all, there can only be so many variations on Pong before someone runs out of ideas, or the waters become over saturated.- Thunderbolt

Even though it isn't a direct adaptation of a film, Stranglehold is probably the best example of a movie-based game to date.- Thunderbolt

Despite my few complaints, Airborne is still an excellent game. From start to finish, I was absolutely hooked and couldn’t stop playing.- Thunderbolt

What limited time you do have with Garfield is actually surprisingly entertaining, and though it doesn’t really use the source material very well, this is still a good 2D platformer that platforming fans should check out, whether they like Garfield or not.- Thunderbolt

What is certain though is that Streets of Rage 2 is a classic title that fully deserves to be revived and remembered in modern day gaming. Now, pass me the pain relief and I’ll be on my way.- Thunderbolt

If you must complete every game you play, then don’t bother. Still haven't found anyone on Xbox LIVE or on public message boards who has even claimed to have completed the game 100%.- Thunderbolt

There is no denying that Corruption lacks the substance that made its prequels so awesome. Despite the near-perfect motion controls, the experience just isn't as exciting anymore.- Thunderbolt

BioShock is a title that gamers spend their whole lives waiting to play. Something that delivers on an absurdly high level in every department, and one that never dips in quality for the 15-20 hours that it lasts.- Thunderbolt

If you’ve played the first Brain Age title (and according to statistics, if you own a DS you’re about 90% likely to have done so), enjoyed it, but have since grown bored of it, then it’s a no-brainer that Brain Age 2 is the perfect solution to get your prefrontal cortex running smoothly once more.- Thunderbolt

For those of you that have yet to experience the Fatal Fury series, give this collection a chance. It may not be the best out there, but it still gives you a taste of better things to come.- Thunderbolt

If this is the only version of Madden NFL 08 that you have access to, then you should still play it, but you’re not going to get the same enjoyment out of it as someone who has the 360 version is going to. But, despite the flaws, it is clear to see that there’s potential here.- Thunderbolt

Whether or not this is worth the 400 Microsoft points, is entirely up to how much fun you think you can squeeze out of a very limited game with next to no variety.- Thunderbolt

But by slapping a horde of white meat fodder onto a tacky shooting system and calling it a day, the developers have severely undercooked this dinner and given me a bad case of Campylobacter.- Thunderbolt

The lack of all the assorted tweaks & tune-ups that the series has seen since 1987 diminishes its appeal somewhat, with the more Final Fantasy games you’ve played likely to correlate with less enjoyment you’ll be able to extract from this one (fanboyism withstanding).- Thunderbolt
