While the pseudo-sand box nature of this game does give it more than a passing resemblance to some of the best bits of the three GTA titles we all know and love, it has enough original content to save it from being accused of too much plagiarism.

So addictive, charming and entertaining that everyone could be converted to its cause.

While the replayability of Episode 2 is somewhat limited due to its single-solution design, the overall experience is simply too much fun to pass up. Any fan of adventure titles will find Wallace and Gromit: The Last Resort to be well worth the money.

It’s rarely frustrating, always fun, and a total blast when it comes to multiplayer. While the story won’t change anyone’s life, the presentation and gameplay are more than enough reason to journey to Pandora.

4A Games’ followup to the remarkable Metro 2033 doesn’t quite hit the high watermark of its predecessor. At times the story and experience feel too constricted and too safe in comparison, but 4A eventually hits the perfect balance of action and atmosphere.

The overall approach is fairly simple, but the level design is well thought out and offers a substantial challenge for gamers of all ages. It’s also a meaty package, presenting players with a sizeable single-player experience and both single and multi-card, multiplayer gameplay. Ninjatown weighs in as: highly recommended.

This is without a doubt a sports game worth experiencing and one which feels both utterly unnecessary and entirely essential at once during this year's lockout season.

ModNation Racers' is a huge beast of a kart racer with a never ending list of fun and challenging things to do.

Runic have created a highly-accessible dungeon crawling game that's highly competitive with the best of the genre.

Ninja Gaiden II does have its faults, but the combat is good enough to keep the game entertaining and engaging, providing one of the best action titles on the 360.

DoWII is so unique that it could just as well co-exist with the other traditional RTS games, as it has a focus in places that the others don’t. That said, there still needs to be some new additions and fixes to the multiplayer, as sooner or later the same 6 or so maps will get boring and stale.

It's a cheap, but well-made game that packs a surprising amount of replay value with simple, engaging gameplay that keeps you coming back to see just how many rocks and high scores Kovo can smash through.

It may not be the best possible way to play Terraria, but taken on its own merits the Xbox version is still a triumph.

It’s a solid, fun experience that will keep you coming back for one more turn.

Army Of Two adds a lot to the coop shooter genre, and I hope future games take note of some of the additions made, especially something like the aggro meter.

Dave Attell, the famed comedian and host of Comedy Central's "Insomniac" show provides the color-commentary, and while it does eventually get repetitive, it's pretty funny. He fits the game nicely.

The Scorchers is a fine way to re-familiarise yourself and extend the run-time of this under-appreciated throwback shooter.

Despite Buzz! Quiz TV’s shortcomings it is a very competent game. It’s not often that a title can appeal to everybody and for it to be easily played by everybody.

What you get out of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks depends on your familiarity with the series. The more you know, the more you’ll like.

There are still some issues with hideously long loading times and certain impracticalities, particularly when putting survivors into the safe room, but the game design presents an oddly satisfying change from the norm that can be easy to love and hate at the same time.

The dearth of features is disappointing, but the main draw for PES 2010 is its refinement. This isn't a simulation by any means. Rather, it's the best soccer game on the iPhone and boasts more realism than any of its competitors.

It's hard to tell if Bulletstorm's silly demeanor and in depth combat mechanics are going to catch on, but despite the problems that keep it several rungs away from the gold it's a very entertaining and unique take on the genre.

The gameplay is some of the most impressive and slickest action on the console. With so many attacks, crazy summons, multiple weapons, and some amazing controls, it’s easy to come up with tons of intricate combos.

Still, it's a very well-designed game that harkens back to the arcade era which adds a few new twists to what could've been a very dull game. Fans of brick-breaking titles will find much to enjoy with Wizorb. It adds a new wrinkle to gameplay with its magic elements, and its mimicry of the bygone NES days will charm the pants off anyone nostalgic for that era.

Of all the iOS developers using the free to play model, NimbleBit has come the closest to getting it right.

Ultimately, The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is a decent overall package that succeeds more due to the remastering of quiet classic Butcher Bay than the somewhat disappointing more recent episode Dark Athena.

The only problem is that lack of personality or vibrancy.

Regardless of its flaws, Scribblenauts is a fine title. It may be over-hyped, but it’s still worth playing.
