Anno 1800 Console Edition is a rousing success that hopefully spells further games in the series being ported over to console. The game itself is excellent, with an engaging campaign and open-ended sandbox mode to keep you plenty busy. But the improvements for console ensure this feels like it was almost built originally with consoles in mind.- TheXboxHub

Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator falls a little short of a Michelin-starred fine dining experience, but still cooks up a storm. It’s easy enough to get to grips with, features a decent selection of cooking apparatus, and is chock full of recipes for posh nosh.- TheXboxHub

We want to play a double-bill of DREDGE and Moonglow Bay. Because while Moonglow Bay is the positive, life-affirming and wistful side of fishing, DREDGE is the opposite. It is monstrously gorgeous, hideously compelling, and has our fingernails down to bloody ends. We’re going to need to update that best fishing games list.- TheXboxHub

Fundamentally, Prison Tycoon: Under New Management suffers with repetitive, monotonous gameplay that makes it difficult to enjoy. As a result, it pales into insignificance when compared to its rivals.- TheXboxHub

DARQ is a decent puzzle game that has an incredibly well-built atmosphere. The few shortcomings don’t overrule the positives, and if you are looking for a short and creepy game to play, then DARQ: Ultimate Edition is a great fit.- TheXboxHub

There is a lot of content and a whole host of action on offer in Guilty Gear -Strive-. While the character roster is completely mental, I haven’t been able to find a huge amount wrong with the game. The complexity is off putting at first, with so many options available both on the offense and defense, but stick with it and while it never becomes easy, especially online, it does start to make sense.- TheXboxHub

Both the combat and crafting are pretty good in Titanium Hound, but navigation through the levels is the opposite - and that means this is a pretty middle of the road game. It does have some good ideas, but it has some dodgy implementation, and so the advice is this - if you like a shooty platformer, try it by all means, but the platforming bits are very frustrating.- TheXboxHub

Bringing an undercooked FPS to market with in-game purchases, via a new IP with no licensed cosmetics or single player campaign is a risky move, especially when there is more lag present than back in the Duke Nukem 3D/Quake LAN party days. But that’s what we have with LEAP.- TheXboxHub

Mato Anomalies is a game that shouldn’t work, but does work very well indeed. It isn’t massively long, and some of the side missions do feel a bit like padding to extend the run time, but the strength of the story running through it, and the fact that the characters you control are interesting in their own right, makes this a game that comes highly recommended.- TheXboxHub

If you can absorb the physics-related issues, and you can get to grips with what each block means and does, then this is an extremely clever game. It’s not as easy as that cute rat protagonist might lead you to believe. Rattyvity Lab is an utter scumbag, but you have to admire its occasional genius.- TheXboxHub

You’ll be looking at some four or five hours in order to complete Remorse: The List and throughout that time will find a world that is interesting to explore. The combat could be more fun though, and it would have been great to have taken in a few more surprises in its setup. At least the puzzle elements are rewarding though.- TheXboxHub

Whilst Intruders: Hide and Seek is not a game that's going to blow the industry away, it's one that you will have a good time with, as you go hiding in the shadows and cowering in cabinets.- TheXboxHub

You'll probably be able to complete Papetura in less than two hours, but I like a short experience that is full of quality, rather than something stretched out with fluff. Papetura delivers on this.- TheXboxHub

If you’re a fan of something like Cities: Skylines - Remastered, then Transport Fever 2: Console Edition is going to be for you. It offers plenty of hours of entertainment and it’s easy to lose yourself in what it delivers; something that is a good mark for any sim game.- TheXboxHub

If you’re a fan of previous Tonguç Bodur games - the likes of The Redress of Mira and Finding the Soul Orb - then Cions of Vega should be on your list. It's one of his best, with a nicely compact story, some lovely visuals, and a great atmosphere.- TheXboxHub

Emoji Kart Racer arrives in a clutch of karting releases with a rather daunting £24.99 stuck to its bonnet. It needed to race ahead of the pack, but mostly it bounces from wall to wall near the rear, doomed by poor controls and blockages on the track. Sad face. Angry face. Poop emoji.- TheXboxHub

My Little Prince - A Jigsaw Puzzle Tale struggles and sputters as soon as the puzzles get beyond two-hundred-plus pieces. While the tools on offer are great, completing a large puzzle remains a fiddly experience to sort, choose and place jigsaw pieces. One day gaming will get big jigsaws right, but today is not that day.- TheXboxHub

A bit like BROK himself, BROK the InvestiGator is a bit of a hybrid. It’s a brawler spliced onto a graphic adventure, yet neither half of the gene pool is quite stable enough to support it.- TheXboxHub

Difficulty spikes and harsh save systems aside, there is a cracking, compact little Metroidvania to explore in Witchcrafty. If you’re partial to the thrills of getting further than you did before, racing to a save point before the last health pip gets removed from you, then Witchcrafty has skills in that department.- TheXboxHub

Cities: Skylines - Remastered is extremely immersive and complex, but easy to pick up and play, minus a few learning curve issues. The package it offers has everything, from the grand scale to the microdetails. Sometimes it’s just fun watching people go about their daily lives, and there are options for that too.- TheXboxHub

Tricky Thief is fine, if a little unremarkable. We appreciated that it makes the effort to spice up the ice-sliding recipe with some enemies, but we spent so long waiting for those enemies, that we got wistful for simpler, gimmick-free ice-sliding puzzlers - and there’s a fair few of those on Xbox.- TheXboxHub

Peppa’s still not cooked: not quite. Which is a shame, because there’s a lot to explore in Peppa Pig: World Adventures, and while the game feels paradoxically more constrained as it goes global, it’s also an experience that had our four-year old jumping up and down on the sofa, singing that flipping theme tune all day.- TheXboxHub

PROJECT ZERO : Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is a very scary, very compelling game that, even with a couple of control niggles, is still more than worth a play. The atmosphere that is summoned up is great, as are the ghosts and the story, but an overhaul of the controls would have been welcome.- TheXboxHub
