Misery isn't a title for everyone, nor for those who love single-player adventures - it needs co-op to show off its true worth - but for those who embrace its pace and constant melancholy, it can prove to be a surprisingly sincere experience.- The Games Machine

Arcadegeddin is a fun and engaging roguelite/shooter. Be aware that there are still a bunch of minor bugs and glitches despite a long Early Access period, but hopefully the devs will fix them soon.- The Games Machine

I had forgotten that feeling of joy mixed with curiosity related to the unexpected arrival of a new cabinet in the arcade. Arcade Paradise made me relive this. I really liked a lot of the video games, while others, despite being quite good, simply weren't my cup of tea. But if you love retro/hyper-casual genre you will surely find at least a dozen of games that you will want to keep on playing, no matter if you already completed their quests. The managerial section, despite being an original part of the game, is the least developed feature; this is a video game for players who love more action and less thinking.- The Games Machine

NBA 2K24 is a video game that convinces but falls short on microtransactions in the career mode, improving little, offering an interesting city to explore and in which to make choices. The progress made is notable, especially in the most requested ways, but it could have aimed for something more.- The Games Machine

Easy to learn, difficult to master, UFC 2 is undoubtedly the best MMA game around. Sometimes the gameplay is a little unbalanced and the career could have been more energetic, but technically the game is impressive, with a deep and rewarding gameplay, and it always delivers a fun experience.- The Games Machine

All things considered, The Crew Motorfest makes variety its strong point and its postcard views a perfect setting for experiencing everything it has to offer. An open world a little bare of significant secondary activities, which however excels in atmosphere and functions as a link between the playlists, the true strong point of the production. Of course, not all driving systems have succeeded in the same way, but the possibility of changing elements and gameplay so quickly allows you to always keep curiosity and the desire to race high, simply because apart from GTA, a completely different genre and mood, there are no other series that offer such a great variety of engines. Quantity, thus, also plugs certain qualitative holes. What remains is the feeling of holiday, persistent and precious. Maika‘i ka huaka‘i!- The Games Machine

A treasure hunt in the world of Dragon Quest turns out to be a pleasant RPG with simple and affordable mechanics suitable for young and old, especially aimed at those who like to have fun without bothering with overly complex plots. The collecting aspect takes over from a basic combat system, but it remains a very enjoyable game.- The Games Machine

After all the ruckus and the controversies, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 finally reveals itself for what it is: a great Star Wars experience. The new Campaign is definitely well written and thrilling (with some memorable dogfights in the space), and the multiplayer improves everything we already loved in the first Battlefront. There are still some issues with a progression system that relies a little bit too much on randomness, but the game is definitely better off without microtransactions.- The Games Machine

The first DLC for Resident Evil 7 offers a new vision of the twisted world created by Capcom; some of its challenges will be perfect for whomever loved the Madhouse difficulty level, but the content itself is not much. We advise to buy it only with the Season Pass.- The Games Machine

This second DLC is not at all bad, expecially considering that the content is rather varied, original and challenging. There's something for everyone, for people who appreciate a good, tense story and for players who long for a speedrun. Combined together, the two Banned Footage DLC are a great addendum to an amazing horror game.- The Games Machine

If Wheel World set out to be a cycling-themed open world, well, it's nailed it. There are a few niggles, but nothing too serious and/or that can't be fixed with a patch in the days following launch.- The Games Machine

Even if the controls sometimes just make you wanna scream, Bonfire Peaks is a nice and small puzzle game worth playing. Its compact diorama levels are brilliantly engineered, using small spaces to test the player’s cleverness. Voxel graphics, more that just being nostalgic, help the game in recreating the right atmosphere of old adventure games like the original Tomb Raider.- The Games Machine

There is a lot of fan service in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Dark Order and that’s a smart move from Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja. The game is tailored around the expectations of Marvel’s fans, with tons of characters and references to both movies and comics. Sure, cameras are bad and graphic is not so good, but superheroes lovers, the only target of the game, will not care about that too much.- The Games Machine

A remastered work as simple as it is effective, and I will certainly be repetitive. Lollipop Chainsaw RePop arrives at the goal and with an interesting purpose: to be able to entertain old players and beyond. It could be fitting in after finishing other more challenging, such as a Frostpunk 2, or an alternative Black Myth: Wukong, in which knowing how to beat is an obligation.- The Games Machine

Priest Simulator: Vampire Show may not be the single-player shooter of the year or the one that revolutionizes the genre, but it’s certainly refreshing to see an FPS that isn’t afraid to be different, over-the-top, and, in its own way, unique.- The Games Machine

A survival horror inspired by the classics of the genre, Resident Evil above all, but with a rather original setting. The sources of inspiration can be felt from the very beginning, which will make long-time fans happy, but the strong setting and some little gameplay variations manage to give Conscript its own dimension.- The Games Machine

Volgarr the Viking II is not so much a definite step forward from the first chapter as a refinement of mechanics and level design. The challenge is always very high and the limited number of credits before 'screwing up' the game is a rather unpleasant idea, but if you're looking for the atmosphere that made classics like Rastan great it might be the game for you, provided you have as much patience as your joypad skills.- The Games Machine

After 20 years, Gears of War is finally coming to PlayStation 5, with the very first installment of the series further polished, enhanced, and complete with all the content released to date. A few wrinkles are noticeable, and the gameplay's rigidity might make it a bit unpalatable for younger players accustomed to blistering speed, but the charisma is still there, and the power of the war between the COG and the Locust is still ready to make your Lancer explode in your hands.- The Games Machine

Portal Knights is the perfect opportunity if you're willing to get close to the universe of Minecraft & C., or if you're looking for something a little bit more complex than mere resource gathering and building. The RPG component is pretty thin, but deep enough to offer different approaches to the game. Thumbs up.- The Games Machine

An incredible and endearing journey through the mysteries of the alien planet Gliese-6143-C, the last hope for mankind. There are some problems with the interface and the writers drags the last chapter a little bit out, but overall it's a journey worth being experienced.- The Games Machine
