This past year Microsoft put a large amount of time and effort into the creation of XSN, so let’s hope this means they’ll have that extra time to beef up the gameplay and depth of the sports titles themselves for the 2005 season.

An extremely stylistic experiment with a well-tailored story and high production values that offers us a glimpse of what lies ahead in gaming, but overwhelmingly shows that we still have a long way to go.

Military buffs and the hardcore flight fans will gobble this one up, but I think most causal gamers that have Live will sadly pass over this one.

Hardcore racing game types and those generations enamored with the sport compact market will definitely need to add this one to their collection.

An almost perfect blend of great control and deep gameplay that will meet any college hoop fan’s criteria.

Hoops stronger in presentation, graphics, and management but "Madness" being better in gameplay.

The level of immersion that it provides is possibly the best that Xbox gamers have seen to date...The single-player campaign mode warrants a purchase alone and when you factor in the Xbox Live multiplayer options, this is the best Xbox game since "Halo."

Sadly it seems as if this revamp of the old Defender of the Crown, is simply an update in graphics and sound with very little thought put forth to update the gameplay. All of the extra modes are repetitive and lack any sort of attention grabbing features.

Anyone with even a bit of interest in RTS games but who thought they were always too complicated should take a serious look at one of the few decent console based strategy games currently available.

Boring and sub-par gameplay, combined with bland visuals and sounds, creates a gaming experience that should be missed. More time was needed fine tuning things such as game mechanics, visuals, and audio.

Offers up all the enjoyment Mario Kart has. The graphics are clean and crisp and the game is a blast to play through in the adventure mode, as well as crashing down with a friend for a good time.

While it is nice that gamers can control both Kain and Raziel for the first time ever, the compromise of the control scheme takes some of the unique aspects away from what fans have experienced in the previous games.

While there are some issues with subtly repetitive gameplay modes, the difficulty level problem, and the occasional cheap computer AI, the overall game is an extremely solid first effort by Microsoft Game Studios.

I appreciate the attempt at drawing non-hunting fans to the game with modes like the Action Zone and being hunted by animals in general, but the end result doesn’t seem as much fun and can be downright frustrating at times.

Simply doesn’t deliver what Xbox’ers are used to in terms of a quality first-person shooter.

With a more refined graphical engine, better play control, and more options, this game could have been very enjoyable. Sadly, all of the previous elements were executed at a poor level and the game seems very rushed.

The contrasting abilities of Sphinx and the Mummy make this a true two character game and not simply the same character with a different model and textures.

A serious lack of gameplay depth and overall game length keep me from recommending this game to anyone other than a driving game freak.

As a side scrolling shooter, Blowout does a decent job, but as a next-generation title, it just doesn't cut it. There's something to be said for linear, simplistic gameplay, but for most gamers, this takes it a little too far.

The upgrades to both the visuals and audio plus the all-in-one price of $49.99 make the GTA Double Pack one of the best values in videogame history.

Improves upon last year's hack-and-slash fest in every single aspect. The multiplayer action is incredibly fun, but it does take time to get adjusted to the camera angles. The camera isn't too much of a problem in the single-player game, but still provides a few quirks that will cause some frustration.

It is true that there are some gameplay redundancies and a healthy amount of character interaction issues, but will a kid point to mommy and say “look at all of the clipping issues!”, or “look at all of the horseys!”?

If repetitive slaughtering of the innocent by punching a few buttons is what you're looking for, then True Crime isn't the title for you. But you other guys really can't go wrong if you're looking for an action/adventure with riveting, twisting, non-linear storyline, advanced move sets, solid graphics, and a sweet audio track.

There are so many bad aspects found in Drake that it is difficult to present them all in one review. The broken gameplay mechanics, uninspired level design, and horrible production values makes Drake one of the worst games on the Xbox to date.
