N++ is a platform game of near perfection. There are countless levels to explore, a boatload of collectables, and a satisfyingly steep difficulty curve that perfectionists will relish.- Switch Player

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is an extremely ambitious title that delivers on most aspects it sets out to. JRPG fans will love how in-depth this one is. If you want something that is vast and intriguing, this is a must-play.- Switch Player

Repetitive battles are The Banner Saga’s biggest issue, but they don’t stop the enjoyment from what is otherwise a fantastic experience. Strategy and fantasy enthusiasts should find a lot to enjoy here. Roll on part two!- Switch Player

Pokémon Sword and Shield are solid Pokémon games but are too close to what we’ve seen before. It was time for some more ambition to rocket the main Pokémon series onto TV screens, but far more ambition was required than delivered.- Switch Player

It’s the best Super Mario 2D experience for more than 25 years and a welcome addition to the Switch’s library. If you’ve not experienced it before then you’ll be in for a treat. Those that purchased this on the Wii U, however, are probably best off avoiding it. For everyone else, it’s a treat.- Switch Player

Torna - The Golden Country is a solid expansion to an already great game. The community feature adds nothing to the experience, but the same epic combat is just as compelling as before.- Switch Player

South Park The Fractured But Whole is like a 20-hour episode of South Park. A satirical take on superhero films, it looks, sounds and feels the part - for the good and the bad. Essential for fans of the show, not for those that are easily offended. And absolutely not for kids!- Switch Player

It's the middle part of a story and at times it certainly feels middling. More polished that the first title yet nowhere near as enthralling or captivating, it feels like it was dragging the story along at times. Fans of the first title will still find plenty to enjoy, and I hope that the final part sees some of the choices pay off.- Switch Player

Thunder Force AC may not be the shining light of the SEGA AGES collection, but space shooter fans and high-score enthusiasts will certainly be able to enjoy the experience. It’s short, but decent enough arcade fun.- Switch Player

Like a spiritual successor to Super Meat Boy, The End is Nigh takes form as a similar 2D side scrolling platform game. By adding an interconnected world to the mix, it encourages exploration, while still delivering that same hardcore and challenging experience.- Switch Player

With Ironcast, Dreadbit mixes up some elements from other genres to make a match-three that is both entertaining and complex. Its permadeath system may hinder the experience for some players, but lots of fun will be reserved for those who persist.- Switch Player

DOOM Eternal feels like more of the same of the 2016/7 version previously released on Switch. It’s a bummer that it’s now eShop only, but it’s the same DOOM experience that you loved before, just with some difficulty of movement.- Switch Player

Lair of the Clockwork God is a joyously nonsensical adventure filled with sharp wit and an eclectic mix of challenges. As a merging of two genres (platformer and point ‘n’ click adventure), it mostly succeeds. Are you game for a laugh?- Switch Player

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition is an impressive technical achievement coming from the mind of just one individual in Tomas Sala. It looks great and feels fully-fledged. Take that out of the equation, though, and things are a bit too unvaried and repetitive for our liking.- Switch Player

Step aside multiplayer sports games! With an abundance of multiplayer games clogging up the virtual pipes these days, A Little Golf Journey is an introvert’s breath of fresh, solo-play, air. An arcade puzzle game with golf as the centerpiece. Take a nice, deep breath, but try not to inhale the golf ball.- Switch Player
