V-Rally 4 aims to be a solid sim racer on Switch comparable to its PS4 and Xbox One counterparts, but the limited power of Nintendo’s hybrid console sees it spinning its wheels too often.- Switch Player

Twin-stick shooters occupy a crowded genre, and Ultra Goodness 2 is likely to get lost in the battle. Like the main avatar, the game has good intentions, but there’s not enough variety or originality to sustain interest.- Switch Player

Black Hole is a dull title that lacks any lasting appeal. It works and runs well but bad design decisions just leave the core gameplay loop far from ideal.- Switch Player

Pizza Parking is a game which would have greatly benefited from better controls. As it is, it’s a little more difficult than it ought to be.- Switch Player

If you can power through the dull and repetitive design of God Wars: The Complete Legend you'll find plenty of content. Sadly, this doesn't make up for otherwise lackluster title.- Switch Player

VSR: Void Space Racing is difficult to control, and takes a lot of effort to get to grips with. If you’ve got the time, then great – but attention spans are short these days with so much games appearing on the Switch’s eShop.- Switch Player

Wanderjahr: Try Again or Walk Away is a bland strategy game that feels more like a mobile game, very little interaction and lack of variety in gameplay make it a passable experience.- Switch Player

Battle for Bikini Bottom felt as much a battle to play at times as it did to defeat those robots. It’s great to see a cult classic get a fresh lick of paint, but style over substance just isn’t enough.- Switch Player

Rune Lord is nothing to write home about. Generic assets make for a fairly bland experience, and there’s little that’s interesting from a gameplay perspective to make this match-3 game stand out from the crowd.- Switch Player

Monkey Wall is a wall-based endless runner, but the package is light. After the first run, the novelty starts to go – it’s a good thing it’s cheap.- Switch Player

Crysis Remastered can be a good-looking FPS. It’s just a shame that the act of actually playing it can feel like a chore thanks to a repetitive first half, poorly implemented stealth and unsatisfying gunplay.- Switch Player

Never Stop fails to hold the attention for long, and unfortunately there are others in the same genre that do the endless runner job a lot better. Wait til it's available for pennies.- Switch Player

Completely lacking in humour and with AI opponents that often struggle to put together a coherent sentence, Oh…Sir! The Insult Simulator is one to be missed. Thankfully its sequel improves upon this game in every single way.- Switch Player

The nonsense story and a humour that never seems to land hinders this rather simplistic Action RPG. Gameplay can be enjoyable, but everything around the games core becomes tedious rather quickly.- Switch Player

Portal Dogs has some clever platforming ideas in the way multiple dogs are controlled at the same time using the same movements. It’s nothing outstanding, however, and the sometimes irritating precision of the controls means it’s another of the many platformers on the Switch eShop.- Switch Player

Despite the hype, Borderlands Legendary Collection never once delivered the thrills and spills I expect of a shooter. Irritations in the controls, the general gameplay, and the plodding storyline reduced my enjoyment to a minimum.- Switch Player

Cobra Kai: The Saga Continues is a slavish love letter to the TV show it’s based on, but movie call backs and fan-favourite moments only goes so far. There are far more competent and creative brawlers on Switch.- Switch Player

Storm Boy: The Game is an interesting take on interactive storytelling, and young children or fans of the book may find enjoyment here, but its short length and lack of any real gameplay make it one worth passing on for the average Switch Player.- Switch Player

Empire of Sin is a weird mixture of half-baked ideas and poorly executed concepts. At times, you can notice glimpses of potential, but in its current state the game is so broken that you can have more enjoyment with any other title in the genre.- Switch Player

Thief of Thieves may get some things right, but this stealth adventure comes with a host of issues of varying severity. The most notable of these is a completion-preventing bug, so we’d suggest steering clear unless a patch is released.- Switch Player

Catch ‘Em! Goldfish Scooping can be a laugh if played with friends, but is a bitter disappointment overall. The poor-quality single-player content, inconsistent hit detection and dull, repetitive gameplay makes the game a poor catch – and there are plenty of better party game fish in the eShop sea.- Switch Player

Perfect Angle looks to provide a short compelling experience and the interesting perspective mechanic is novel at first but the game quickly runs out of ideas and some minor design decisions only make some of the puzzles even more of a drag.- Switch Player

With its eerie atmosphere and interesting mechanics, Neverout has potential, but it doesn’t do enough to deliver. If you happen to be in the market for a good first-person puzzler, you’ll probably want to steer clear.- Switch Player

UBERMOSH: OMEGA is a twin-stick shooter that challenges the player to stay alive against hundreds of enemies. To achieve that, though, you’ll need to deal with very messy presentation, in which it becomes hard to even understand what is happening.- Switch Player

If you’re looking for a short diversion to stimulate the mental facilities then Energy Cycle just might be what you’re looking for. Though the concept as a puzzler is sound, the overall execution is half-hearted and it won’t keep you entertained for long.- Switch Player

If you like your gameplay to be repetitive and downhill (albeit with a boost at the end), Ramp Car Jumping could be just the ride for you. There are some fun physics at play, but not enough depth.- Switch Player

The StoryTale has a few significant flaws that mar what little entertainment it provides. A sprinkling of originality is not enough to elevate this title to a position from which it can stand out in a crowded genre.- Switch Player

Operation Pig is too rough around the edges to be much cop. It’s too difficult to get to see the game’s plot, and there’s too many translation mishaps to stay invested in it anyway.- Switch Player

Habroxia is a space shooter that’s far too straightforward and lacking in personality. It won’t live long in the memory at all, and perhaps is a symbol to indicate that this genre has become dated.- Switch Player
