Nights of Azure 2 has a fun and simple gameplay and interesting mechanics, but that get penalized by the game design itself and the repetitiveness of the title. If you enjoyed the previous game, you'll probably have fun with this one as well.

Gran Turismo Sport aims to become the leader of the racing e-sports games. Without a classic career mode and with a calendar of online competitions that will offer a lot of races throughout the next months, this chapter may disappoint the fans of the series. Also, the starting contents are poor and are comparable to the GT Prologue titles.

"The Enigma" is a strong episode 1 for this new series, in which Telltale tried to add something new to its formula, with different kinds of QTEs and interesting bounds between the main characters. Now, we just need to see how much of this will actually make the difference in the next episodes.

Rogue Trooper was an anonymous third person shooter back in 2006 and it still is today. Even if the game is visually good, especially compared to the original release, the game really shows its age gameplay-wise.

WWE 2K18 is not the long awaiting improvement fans have been longing for. Outdated visuals and stale gameplay prevent this game from being recommendable to those who already own one of the recent iterations of the franchise.

The Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame is a solid entry in the Lego series, providing a few new tweaks to the gameplay compartment that make the game feel fresh compared to other recent entries.

This second episode is again stunning and emotionally captivating, even a little slower though. Before the Storm is going to be a strong prequel to Life is Strange, even better in some ways.

Fire Emblem Warriors is surely the best musou to grace a console in recent years: the strategic elements taken from the Fire Emblem franchise deepen its gameplay, making it attractive even to non-musou fans.

If you're looking for a title with similar features, then just buy Payday 2 instead: a game that has already been optimized, perfected, and is certainly more fun than this one.

With Elex Piranha Bytes bites off more than it can chew, unfortunately: the game is huge, and we're sure a great effort went into the storytelling and world building, but the combat system is just too clunky and the difficulty curve is off, too much to recommend it.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole is a nice sequel, with so much fun and irreverence, but, at the same time, it's repetitive.

    Hob
With a below average combat system, a lot of technical issues and almost no story to speak of, Hob is a hard sell for lovers of the previous Runic games. Still, it is graced by a very good art design and clever puzzles.

"Who needs you?" is a very well-written episode, and it is intriguing to notice that it just doesn't care about the not-so-interesting villain anymore. Player's choices now have an actual weight and we are curious to learn how the final episode will deal with it.

The Evil Within 2 is a very solid and thrilling survival horror. Despite some not-so-good tension-breaking sandbox sections, filled with unnecessary fetch quests, this sequel is better than its predecessor: better game rhythm, better story, no more frustration and a compelling skill system.

FIFA 18, is a good start point for the series with a Nintendo Console. There are a few gameplay problems, some modes aren't available, but the game itself, in the portable mode, is very enjoyable.

Chaos;Child is yet another great entry in the Science Adventure series, with a peculiar but believable cast of characters and a story that will unravel in the less expected ways. An easy recommendation for visual novel fans.

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen is good today as it was back in 2012, as it's still a unique take on the open world action RPG genre. We would have liked some new content and 60 fps, but at a bargain price, it's still recommended.

An interesting mix between RTS and tower defense, Mushroom Wars 2 keeps on challenging with fast-paced, tactical battles. A suggested game, even if it can be a bit frustrating at times - especially if you are not so patient.

The Coma: Recut is full of cliches. If you've already played White Day, you can imagine what kind of survival horror it is: you'll find an annoying killer that will follow you throughout the game, you have to find the right item to go on, you'll suffer from the backtracking and you'll have to run away from dangers of hide yourself. Repeat for three or four hours and that's it.

After six successful games and a brilliant spin off, the Layton saga begins anew with this episode, but the end result it's not on par with the quality level we were used to. It's simpler, a little shorter and, more than this, it's double the price if compared to the identical mobile version.

As if one of the best titles of the GBA library wasn't enough, Nintendo and Alpha Dream have put a lot of effort in this new version of their classic, with a brand new (albeit short) campaign and a great job on the technical side: this is the way to introduce good old games to new audiences.

NBA 2k18 for Nintendo Switch is the result of the good work of Visual Concept. The differences in the gameplay with the major versions are tiny and the game is extremely enjoyable either in the portable mode and in the docked mode. There are few bugs, but they don't ruin the overall experience.

Whether you are a causal or a hardcore gamer, Modern Combat Versus will be the best mobile shooter on which you could lay your hands this year. Gameloft offers 12 characters you can go wild with in ranked matches, without compromises on the customization system. This brand new experience is enriched by astounding visuals and a perfect control system. That said, the game is not perfect. You just can't ignore the lack of content at day one and there still are some worrying balance issues.
