If you expected a real evolution, you will be disappointed. The game blindly adheres to the canons of the genre, and not just a couple of extra mechanics and ideas can save this title from the mire in which these kind of games have been wallowing for years.

With The Crew Motorfest, the Ubisoft franchise finds new vitality, primarily thanks to a proudly arcade-styled driving system that also embraces online challenges.

Unlike the previous chapters, Watch Dogs Legion has a strong identity and some bold takes on the action adventure genre, on top of an inspired setting. However, it still suffers the usual Ubisoft open world's troubled progression and meaningful narrative.

Apart form the fact that it is diverging more and more from its original RPG roots, the Paper Mario saga continues to evolve, and Color Splash is a good example of how to successfully mix different genres to create a cohesive and fun gaming experience, albeit a little too much on the easy side.

Furi has a brilliant combat system based on the player's reflexes and his ability to memorize the enemy's attack pattern. Moreover, Takashi Okazaki's boss design is captivating and inspired.

We're not sure if this is the best Rune Factory game available on Switch, but what we're definitely sure of is that the changes to the DS version are all for the better and that the game is still as enjoyable and relaxing as it was some 14 years ago.

Replaced is not the masterpiece many had hoped for, but it is something perhaps rarer: a game that is honest in its imperfection. It knows exactly what it wants to be, it knows how to make you feel it, and for long stretches it succeeds with almost surgical precision. Its weaknesses are not those of a lazy or sloppy production, but of a project that aimed high and missed the mark due to a lack of polish, not vision.

It's surprising how Telltale, after so many titles, still shows this kind of ambition, adding tons of new content and brand new ideas to the classic gameplay. On the other hand, it's a real shame that every new piece of gameplay doesn't feel as connected and polished as the good old stuff, resulting in a mixed final product.

It's both a light and funny action game and a wasted chance to make something more due to an overall unpolished job. Strongly consider it if you love Ultramarines though, since they get a great depiction.

We are more than happy to have the chance to replay (Langrisser) and play for the first time (Langrisser II) two seminal SRPG like these ones. That said, the price is a little too high and the remasters a little bare bones.

Super Monday Night Combat feels like a toned down Monday Night Combat. It's free but in-game items are really expensive and gameplay is monotous and boring. Simply put: don't waste your time here.

Bad Blood is certainly not a revolutionary downloadable content, nor it's able to change the minds of those who have already disliked the product by Ubisoft, but it's still a good DLC, with a far more charismatic protagonist than Aiden Pearce.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is, most likely, what fans were hoping to be able to play, sooner or later. A superbly crafted compilation, respectful of the original material, capable of allowing us to relive all the typically '90s feeling of Lara Croft's first three adventures.

Star Ocean: Second Evolution is a good remake. This Square Enix RPG joint offers original new ideas, a nice combat system and two main characters. On the other side, the pace is slow, difficulty level is too high and casual encounters are way too many. If you love RPGs, and you're looking for something new on the combat side, you should try it.

If Sloclap can rightfully be considered a small forge of ideas, then Rematch is undoubtedly its most ambitious project to date. However, this ambition, when confronted with the reality of execution, sees the game struggling to shine as brightly as hoped—at least initially. That said, it provides a solid foundation to build upon, update after update, with the goal of engaging and growing a community—something that is essential for a project of this kind.

Dynamic terrain modification and the Reflex control system succeed in delivering something new to the offroad genre. On the other hand, some minor bugs and inaccuracies in physics and collisions make the experience sometimes frustrating. Add not-so-good graphics, invasive soundtrack and a clumsy customization menu and what you get is an unpolished product, suitable just for big fans of the saga and the offroad genre.

An intelligent and beautiful virtual table top-game, that can be very fun if played online. Especially with friends. The ruleset isn't perfect, and its multiplayer-only nature leaves something to be desired, but it's still pretty impressive as a first try.
