Aphelion is a pleasant, well-crafted, and visually captivating sci-fi adventure that remains engaging to play, especially thanks to its setting and the credibility of its spacefaring imagination. DON'T NOD builds a world that is beautiful to explore and a story solid enough to carry the journey, but it never quite manages to give the gameplay the same strength as its artistic vision.

The console version of Moons of Madness is not on par with the PC ones on the technical side of things, but it remains a solid narrative based adventure to enjoy.

Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is a decent tie-in, a real-time strategy game based on the acclaimed TV series. Nothing more and nothing less.

Yakuza Dead Souls merges good RPG elements with TPS mechanics unfortunately damaged by some technical problems that compromise the entire game experience.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III is not the conclusion that the saga deserved; it is too simplified in some of its aspects, it is short, it is impossible to import your previous character, and it has technical issues. The gameplay is still valid and entertaining, but lies under this huge list of problems.

Forspoken is a game of ups and downs. The title is much more focused on the story than on the open world component and this is not a bad thing at all. The narrative is enjoyable, but not without flaws, while the open world is very classic in style without particular flashes of originality.

It's a little project, but also an ambitious one, with RPG elements and slow paced exploration thrown in the mix. Unfortunately we weren't completely convinced by the game's pace and the design choices. If you like spaceships and are not scared of dead moments, you could find something to love in RymdResa.

Darksiders 3 is the best entry in the series. This new chapter has a solid game structure and represents all the best that you can expect from a modern action-adventure game.

The arcade side of the offroad experience: you won't like it if you're an MX vs ATV fan, but it's still good fun. Could've been way better with a decent collision system and some more polish.

This is, undeniably, the worst version of RPG Maker, which is, by itself, the best tool to create simple RPGs on PC. No tutorial, a lack of content and a high price hold this product back.

Warlander feels like a melting pot of different mechanics, but with its own personality. Unfortunately, not everything fell into the right place during the development, but it's an interesting attempt nonetheless.

The first episode of 198X is an homage to the best and most iconic arcade games of the 80s, but tells a really trivial and generic story.

A deep and profound strategic title wich fails to deliver, mainly due to a lame user interface, lack of tutorial, questionable AI, bad graphics and boring moments. The multiplayer fails to save it. It's definitely better to look elsewhere into the Paradox portfolio with better, more refined, titles as Hearts of Iron or Europa Universalis.

Star Wars the Force Unleashed II makes up for most of its predecessor flaws, and delivers some terrific action sequences. It's a shame though that the story is simply non existent and the whole adventure lasts some 5 hours. It really seems like the developers can't make this saga right, leaves us waiting for a new hope.

Four years later, Darkstar One comes back on the Xbox 360 identical to the PC version and well adapted for console controllers. The experience is quite deep and lets the player enjoy many different missions, but in the end you will find yourself fighting too often. Also, technically suffers its age, despite the 1080p resolution. If you like the genre, anyway, this game is at the moment your only choice.

Dynasty Warriors 8 isn't the best musou game ever, not even the worst. Koei Tecmo Games still didn't change anything in their famous saga, but they should. Appreciated by longtime fans, the game shall attract ever more new gamers with something new, which could possibly entertain them with a brand new gameplay idea of mosou games, instead boring the players with something repetitive and sparkless.

Great location, good gameplay and very interesting story. Assassin's Creed Bloodlines achieves the goal of reproducing console's style into the PSP. Good visuals, enhanced combat system and new money-system could be what the entire saga needed in order to evolve. Bad A.I. influences some fighting sessions, and the too repetitive mission can slow down the pace. Every PSP owner should at least try this fairly good title.

Basically Penny Punching Princess is yet another low budget production by Nippon Ichi who tries to throw into the fray some new gameplay, without having to take too much work from the technical point of view. The combat system can also be innovative and interesting to deepen, but in the long run can not entertain the player who is forced to move for dungeons always the same, which must be repeated several times each to improve the statistics of the princess and mitigate a particularly high level of difficulty.

All in all, The Godfather II goes on the same path of its predecessor: funny gameplay, but repetitive, cool design, but graphics look old. You can squeeze the best out of it while managing your rackets, but the fun won’t last long, and won’t leave much behind when it’s over.

It's hard to play Sands of Destruction where it could have been enjoyable and easy: hard for the tremendous amount of random encounters and, most of all, for the insanely unbalanced battle system, base on luck more than ability.

All-Star Fruit Racing on Switch remains a good starting-point. Its kart racing is fun and easy to learn, thus confirming its "family-friendly" nature. By the way it retains flaws like a not memorable roster and some technical issues (such as shadows and loading times), and that's a pity that obscures a little its rediscovered nature of portable game.
