A pretty good title, with solid gameplay mechanics and a lot of gore. Unfortunately Nick is a really anonymous character and the game presents some frame rate drops with a myriad of technical issues. A good start for Xbox One but from this new console we expect much more.

A game that gives lot of fun to the player, but the lack of a local co-op and a strange business model don't work.

Ethan: Meteor Hunter is an atypical platform game. Mixing a classic platformer with distinctive elements has definitely been a good idea. The game is difficult, but the level design is extremely good and the game worth its small price.

A game with a very high level of difficulty, who relies on an original gameplay and an interesting story. So, it’s all about patience: if you have it, you will go through all the failures and the inevitable repetitions of the stages, and you will get a decent story. If you don’t have it, you will quit after minutes.

Are you one of those still waiting for a new version of Killer Instinct after 20 years? Xbox One will give you the opportunity to play a great Killer Instinct edition: fast, furious, and full of brutal combos like you hoped it to be. Anyway, the free to play formula will ask you for too much money if you consider buying any single “Round” Microsoft releases, and if you focus on details. Instead of focusing on the violently fast gameplay, you’ll see some poor animations, imprecise hit-box and frequently buggy graphics.

Hide and Seek, second of five episodes of The Council, tells a better story and creates more suspense. Some game moments are frustrating and many technical issues are still there: in two months, the frame rate is worse and the game remained the same.

4444 is the latest game developed by Cellar Ghost. The title is a simple and colorful puzzle game featuring a rather enjoyable but repetitive gameplay. Due to this aspect and despite the good quality of the product, the longevity is quite low compared to other similar apps.

Twin Mirror is a good psychological thriller that knows how to tease player's curiosity. Too bad the project is not so ambitious, with underdeveloped gameplay mechanics and too many forced choices.

A different title, but not an accomplished one. The gameplay is too simple and poor, leading to loads of boring situations. Considering the originality and the budget price, you could still consider it, but try before buying.

Brawl Busters is a free game from RockHippo Productions very good and funny. Thanks to its simple gameplay and the large community, the game is able to entertain anyone, relying on the fast pace and intuitive controls.

The typical style of ACE Studios is also evident in the Abyss Odyssey, but this project consists of a mixture of various genres that turns out to be slightly disappointing, due to a bland fighting system and a structure not sufficiently varied.

Red Faction: Guerrilla is a good game, but it hasn't aged very well. Its open-world structure is only a glimpse of what the genre would become in later years. Its saving grave is to be found in the destruction mechanic, that it's still very up to date and enjoyable.

The fourth chapter looks like a regular episode from the AMC series: a few zombies, a lot of dialogues, characters who act stupidly. Still, the ending is well-structured, and delivers some good moments and decisions. Not as good as the second episode, way better than the third.

Lollipop Chainsaw is the quintessential Suda 51 game. It's crazy, foul-mouthed, colorful, loud and quite fun, but its also a short action game with a lacking combat system. If Suda 's particular brand of humour doesn't have any effect on you, leave it be. Get the soundtrack though, it's absolutely amazing.

With some scenario problems and a flat evolution of characters, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness succeeds in being both fun and dynamic. A fun that, unfortunately, lasts less than other JRPGs do.
