The Talos Principle 2 combines the pleasure offered by strong mind-benders, with a masterfully crafted story with very interesting philosophical pursuits.

Despite any flaws, in whatever gameplay area they might be found, Rogue Trader was undoubtedly created by people with passion and knowledge of the setting and lore, who sought to create an excellent Warhammer RPG and, for the most part, they succeeded.

Last Train Home is primarily a product of love, a sincere testimony of the soul. Not only is it based on a widely unknown historical event, it's also an RTS, a category that has been out of the commercial spotlight for decades. The makers of the Ashborne Games studio didn't have commercial success as a priority; their motives were purer. The result, at least in terms of quality, does them justice.

A fun but technically unstable Zombies mode and some nostalgic additions to Multiplayer probably don't make up for the worst Campaign we've seen so far in a CoD game, nor do they fully redeem the game's integrity, a game which would have been better off released at half price as an expansion for MWII.

The Will of Arthur Flabbington offers a challenging, smart, at times cheeky and humorous old-school adventure that will be enjoyed primarily by fans of the genre. So, if you're looking for such an adventure, look no further.

Even so, with its limitations and "transitional" nature, Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is a decent episode, especially for fans of the series, and well worth your time until Infinite Wealth.

Sonic Superstars is a complete and fun return to the 2D roots of the series. With strong level design and impeccable controls, it could claim a place among the best of the year (and what a year!) with a less tedious boss encounter design.

Ion Fury: Aftershock has more of a 90's Expansion Pack flair, with its 7+ hour campaign, solid level design, heart-pumping action, and low-price tag. A such, it comes with a glowing recommendation for all fans of the base game.

Rogue City is perhaps the best RoboCop game that could be made, and in many ways echoes the legendary films on which it's based: it may not be particularly complex in terms of writing, it may be slightly to very unpolished in places, but no one can deny that it's full of heart and soul.

Perhaps the most complete and realistic experience we've enjoyed in the City Building Sims genre so far, the prestige of which in its early state is sadly marred by poor optimization in the graphics department.

A sci-fi adventure that features a very subversive story, and several nice puzzles, thus composing a worthwhile adventure experience.

Phantom Liberty and the free accompanying Patch 2.0 do not result in a radically different game, but they do manage to elevate the Cyberpunk 2077 experience to perhaps the highest level it could reach given the philosophy and original design of the game.

Ultimately, PAYDAY 3 offers a fun combination of stealth and action/shooter gameplay in a way that no other game outside of the series does, and that certainly has merit in its own. But it still needs a lot more content if it's ever to replace its established predecessor at some point, and it needs significant redesign in the key area of progression to avoid alienating its audience.

It's a new Trine, and there's a lot of it. It offers exactly what old fans of the series have come to expect and has all the makings of introducing new fans to the adventures of Amadeus, Zoya and Pontius.

Bigger, better, avoiding the mistakes of its predecessor, Blasphemous 2 is one of the most faithful to its tenants, sequels we've seen in recent years. Its solid gameplay and intriguing level design and exploration are some of the reasons why we fell in love with this genre, in the first place.

Diablo IV runs as a grimdark, stylistic overhaul on the chassis of Diablo III. Highly addictive, grandiose in its objectives, with a satisfying length even for those who don't want to be bothered with the lackluster endgame. As it seems so far, the game systems have some solid foundation, but they haven't been polished giving the impression that the game was rushed out. As it stands now, we are unable to recommend it for its campaign alone for full price, although it is an addictive title for the duration of the honeymoon period.

Trepang2 could have been a gem in the FPS genre, as it has an enviable combat mechanic, but the rest of the structure is mediocre. However, the foundations it lays are solid, so a potential sequel is capable of being a milestone for the genre, as was the case with its inspirator.

Ultimately LEGO 2K Drive is an arcade kart racing game with a solid core, but it trips itself up with design choices that try to increase the so-called engagement time, in the hope that the player will always nab something from the emporium. It's not bad, but it's certainly not as fun as the games it draws inspiration from.
