An amazing debut from Pixelated Milk, featuring a refreshing, deep, and satisfying combat system. Honest old school design, without any tiresome grinding. We anxiously await their next game.

A special blend of Survival and Single-Player RPG gameplay with beautiful graphics and interesting management mechanics, whose rather empty and generic medieval world ends up detracting from the whole experience.

Though not without its share of flaws, Battle Princess Madelyn stays true to the formula of the games that inspired it, eschewing artificial difficulty and keeping all the fun.

In contrast to the sunny Tuscan countryside, Martha Is Dead is a melancholic drama with few bright aspects, but it adheres to the norms of interactive storytelling games more that we would like. Although it makes some small steps forward compared to the developers' previous game, they are not enough to make it stand toe to toe with the top representatives of the genre.

This DLC costs too much for its PvE content. On the other side, if your are a PvP fanatic then invest immediately. Ashes of Ariandel is an appetizer for the next two additions to the mythical world of Dark Souls 3.

A brilliant concept resulting in a game that is only limited by the sheer demand it puts on the player. Lacking tutorials or guidance of any sort, Hack 'N' Slash will delight hacking enthusiasts and students of computer science to no end, whilst at the same time utterly terrifying and mystifying anyone looking for the trademark easy good times associated with the Double Fine logo. This is a unique gateway into the world of figuring out what makes video games tick and the presentation is absolutely wonderful but only the most dedicated, hardcore, ingenious players will manage to see it through to it's end. Easily one of the hardest games of the past five years, Hack 'N' Slash is blessed and cursed by it's own unique design concept.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris offers a short but a really fun experience, and gamers who enjoy a good action/puzzle game surely will be pleased.

Dragon Quest Heroes is a decent title and arguably the best Musou-style game in the history of their existence. Too bad for the lack of a co-op mode.

RIVE is a remarkable shooter/platform hybrid for anyone seeking a fun but very demanding challenge. Before playing, arm yourself with patience, remove fragile items near you, put talcum powder on your hands and... good luck.

Dead or Alive 6 is a decent fighting game. Although the DLC pricing model is annoyingly expensive, the existing content is enough to make you ignore it and devote yourself to its high-quality gameplay. As soon as lobbies are added, it would be a very good thing for all the fighters out there.

An unabashed love letter to the cult "little" point and click adventures of the 90s, executed with panache. Guaranteed to bring a smile to the lips of veteran adventure gamers but it will be hard pressed to impress the younger generation of players.

Lords of the Fallen is a truly epic game but its smaller and worst than the Souls series games... at least it tried to dare where no one dared before.

Call of Duty is back with an explosive single-player campaign that will delight fans of sci-fi action. Worries about the longevity of the online population aside, this year’s version is worth buying if you don’t mind a somewhat clunky multiplayer component.

The first out of three single-player mission DLCs for Starcraft 2 provides a promising story which may be an improvement on Blizzard’s recent stale storytelling. The duration of this pack is somewhat short for its price, but the production values are still top notch. If you want a little bit more of single-player fun on SC2, you may want to give it a try.

What pleasantly surprised me is that A Story About My Uncle doesn't focus exclusively on the story itself, but puts great emphasis on the simple yet engrossing narrative. This results in a high sense of immersion which becomes apparent only at the very end of the narration. ASAMU is certainly a non-violent interactive story videogame that pushes the genre one step forward, through its platforming mechanics. For anyone who thought Dear Esther as a surprising alternative to conventional gaming, ASAMU will certainly not disappoint.

GoW: Ultimate Edition, as a remastered game, is one of the best we have ever seen. As a PC game, it is not the end of the world, but both the limitations of Windows Store and the obvious optimization issues are taking it away from the "must-buy" list.

Soulstorm dares to be bold with its 2.9D presentation, which brings a lot of life to the scenery. The soft reboot has deviated considerably from Exoddus, which is based upon, with a more cinematic approach and new gameplay mechanisms. We miss the late-90s level design of Exoddus, but we loved Soulstorm for its odd-acity!

Over The Moon’s incisive look into the nature of conscience and self-awareness reaches new heights in Unbound. A.R.I.D’s dark, dystopian Odyssey continues and the way the second chapter weaves altering perspectives in the solutions of its puzzles, is nothing short of masterful.

An intriguing tactical game with an excellent time manipulation mechanic that transforms each battle into a dance of perfectly choreographed moves. Some repetitiveness after the mid point of the campaign and the uneven framerate in larger battles are small blemishes on an otherwise quality game.

My Time at Portia offers many crafting activities, a vividly colored world that is really pleasant to explore and a main quest line. After a while, crafting requirements might prove to be somewhat of a grinding activity for some people and quests and inhabitants at times feel a bit dry. A pleasant and relaxing experience all in all that could be elevated with a little more invested writing.

Outriders is a pleasant surprise, in which a looter-shooter fan will find rich and engaging content that will keep him busy for an extensive number of hours, especially if he intends to play with all four classes. Setbacks are not lacking though, such as the repetitive pattern of the arenas, the low-intelligence bullet-sponge enemies and the occasional crashes of the servers, but the conclusion is definitely positive.

Grim, brutal, otherworldly. Rock solid turn based mechanics and incredibly tense shootouts frame a story dripping with an oppressive, wrong, weird West atmosphere. Beyond the enjoyable mechanics, Hard West takes on a life and dark spirit of it’s own. This is one ride you are not apt to forget anytime soon.

A brilliantly stylized noir mystery, whose dark metaphysical turns evoke equal parts True Detective and Sin City. A Crowd Of Monsters has crafted a uniquely dark experience, drawing both from historical facts as well as their vision of post-war America.

Yooka-Laylee encompasses some modern design sensibilities and lots of nostalgia vibes, reminiscent of carefree, bygone eras. Some drawbacks hold it back from being a classic, but nevertheless its rich content and high fun factor will ring true to fans of the genre.

This second act makes a tragic script twist, proves to be totally uninteresting and contains badly-designed and awfully implemented puzzles, thus turning every hour we spend with it into wasted time. A disastrous second part of a very ambitious but completely failed Kickstarter adventure game.
