A true 8-bit spaghetti western mini-epic, Double Barreled is a true shotgun-blast-to a belly-full-of-whiskey,good time. Frantic action, a reasonably large open world and complete freedom of action make this a truly standout and absolutely thrilling ride.

Superhot is a unique game, with extraordinary and exciting gameplay mechanisms, which mildly falls short due to its two-hour long campaign.

A solid, heavily atmospheric adventure game that evokes the true gothic horror of Howard Philip Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe. If you can get past the 4-bit uber-retro graphics presentation, you're in for a gripping ride to the dark side that you will not be forgetting any time soon.

V Rising does almost everything right to offer satisfaction to the player who wants both solid action gameplay, and opportunities to unleash their architectural talents. Unfortunately, the few things it gets wrong are significant enough to keep it from receiving rave reviews.

Beautifully drawn, with simple yet satisfying puzzling at its core and heart and soul to spare. This moving allegory on the atrocities of war and the power of friendship, will stay with you long after the credits have rolled.

Apart from the short duration and the cliffhanger ending, Katana Zero is great game, made by people who truly adore their "child", while it has probably the best pixel art aesthetics we have seen so far.

High production values, excellent fun and the closest you will get to an interactive version of “Smokey and the Bandit” in this video game generation. A very pleasant surprise for Mafia fans, and the Herbalism side quest alone is worth the price of admission.

Sniper Elite III is clearly the best game in the series. Rebellion managed to correct some of the previous games' glaring mistakes and improve on its already compelling game mechanics. The only thing keeping it from achieving a higher score is a lack of focus in the story department and a couple of relatively minor flaws. Otherwise, highly recommended to both fans of the series and newcomers alike.

Outcast: Second Contact succeeds in bringing the experience of the original game over to the modern era, despite some of its issues. The work done in the visual and music department is worthy of applause and most of the design changes are spot-on. If some of the missteps regarding the controls and camera system, as well as the bugs that are present, were avoided then the overall score would have been quite a bit higher. As it stands, if you have fond memories of the original and want to relive that experience, Outcast: Second Contact is a very faithful adaptation that will take you upwards of 18-20 hours to finish.

A true proto-gothic horror piece, Neverending Nightmares feels like a hellish walk through an unpublished Edgar Allan Poe short story. The excellent sound design and unsettling, stylized visuals provide an experience that will linger with the player long after the end credits have rolled.

Certainly not the boldest or most comprehensive remaster one could wish for, but still an ideal way for both newcomers and veterans alike to experience the epic journey that is the original Mass Effect trilogy in 2021.

DOOM: The Dark Ages offers a solid prequel of the Slayer saga, while being bold and experimental. However, this experimentation strays away from DOOM 2016's formula, which may alienate FPS-purists even more than Eternal did.

Dead or Alive 6 is a decent fighting game. Although the DLC pricing model is annoyingly expensive, the existing content is enough to make you ignore it and devote yourself to its high-quality gameplay. As soon as lobbies are added, it would be a very good thing for all the fighters out there.

A very solid title that offers quite a lot in a uniform package. Its main drawback is the severe lack of a community on the PC platform, essentially restricting the multiplayer play to “couch-battles” or private online matches.

Diablo IV runs as a grimdark, stylistic overhaul on the chassis of Diablo III. Highly addictive, grandiose in its objectives, with a satisfying length even for those who don't want to be bothered with the lackluster endgame. As it seems so far, the game systems have some solid foundation, but they haven't been polished giving the impression that the game was rushed out. As it stands now, we are unable to recommend it for its campaign alone for full price, although it is an addictive title for the duration of the honeymoon period.

Well balanced with a nice variety of gameplay delivered by the unlockable gadgets. But don't be fooled by its charming presentation. Stealth Inc. 2 becomes brutally difficult early in the game and will either satisfy your platforming cravings or drive you insane in the process.

The combined elements of Act of War and C&C:Generals make for true old-school multiplayer mayhem, albeit with a lackluster single player campaign and a few issues here and there. Furthermore, the fact that Eugen Systems is genuinely and actively listening to the community feedback, leads us to expect great things. Long live the old-school RTS renaissance.

The Rise of the Necromancer makes a solid attempt to revive a comatose patient. Although the “new” vintage class brings a breath of fresh air and ties organically with the gameplay direction the series has taken, it does not solve the numerous endgame issues of Diablo 3. Fans would enjoy the re-emergence of the priests of Rathma, the rest will most definitely find other games of the genre to be more enjoyable.
