It's not a hard game, but it is a thoughtful game, and you will need to consider everything you know and review your material more than once if you are going to get a conviction.- Quandary

It's a diverting little game but it doesn't reach any great heights.- Quandary

You can almost feel the damp and the cold; and the echoing 'plink' of unseen dripping water or disembodied moans and a myriad of dungeon clangs and creaks haunt your every step.- Quandary

A bundle of fun. There is a short loading period each time you change major locations but it didn't bother me, although, as good as it is, it would be better if you could skip through dialogue if you've heard it before.- Quandary

Much hyped and, as a result much anticipated, and a long time in coming, it lived up to all my expectations. It's a marvellous piece of story telling, and promises more to come. The highs overwhelmed any lows and I loved it for what it was and didn't mind at all what it wasn't.- Quandary

The balance between complexity of puzzles and progression of the game was pretty well struck. It has its faults, but it looks great, sounds nice and on the whole rolls pleasantly along.- Quandary

A suitably gripping and atmospheric thriller and the transitions between the Chicago and Prague investigations are very smooth.- Quandary

It's all about the puzzling, and it's damn fine. It doesn't lead you by the nose and gives you lots to think about. Breakthroughs often lead to other insights and on you go. I did need help, and slapped myself sometimes for being so dense. Other times I simply applauded a very good puzzle. Almost everything is intuitive, there to be teased out if you take the time to ponder.- Quandary

The very large turn-off is the number of little arcade like puzzles you are required to do, which to me simply did not fit the tone of the whole thing.- Quandary

Overall, I quite enjoyed the puzzle/maze aspect of this game though it is not one that I would want to return to, and it is definitely not for the squeamish.- Quandary

Runaway is a light-hearted romp with some genuinely humorous moments. My biggest disappointment was that Gina had no real role other than to look appealing and need rescuing.- Quandary

Definitely one for fans of humorous graphic adventures. It pays homage to the LucasArts classics and you will find references to familiar situations and characters that no doubt inspired the making of this game. Even if you miss the references you will still have a thoroughly good time.- Quandary

The documentary is a wonderful adjunct to the game, insightful and witty, well put together and with some original footage including the audition of the lead actor and a 1996 spot on Good Morning America (check out the price of the game back then.- Quandary

I enjoyed the 8 hours or so it took me to play, and it is another feather in the cap of independent games and what can be achieved predominantly from home. Set your sights at the right level and you should be pleased with the result.- Quandary

I had some fun in Stormreach despite sometimes waiting around to find adventuring companions. The dungeons make up for this with the various challenges and secret ways to ferret out.- Quandary

If you're not looking for an intricate story and lots of character interaction then there's quite a fun and hectic journey to be had through the troubled land of Ancaria.- Quandary

Fun to play, despite its brevity, enlivened as always by the snappy repartee between the loquacious canine Sam and his manic white rabbit sidekick Max, who seems to get the best lines. The humour and silly situations guarantee that you will play with a constant smile on your face.- Quandary

There is nothing particularly difficult about completing Maya's quest, but it is one which offers a good variety of conundrums, including some quite original variants on some old standards.- Quandary

Randomly dropping in on locations in the hope that something relevant is going to happen is in the same boat. Carol's apartment is a case in point.- Quandary

AGON: The Mysterious Codex remains a work in progress, and based on the chapters released so far there could be 100 hours or so of gaming still to come. Whether it can sustain itself for that length of time remains to be seen, but on the strength of this first part I will certainly go along for the next part of the journey of Samuel Hunt.- Quandary

It's a solid adventure and it's well put together, but like many of Nancy's recent adventures The White Wolf of Icicle Creek errs on the side of games/activities with correspondingly less exploration and sleuthing. This balance was much better in the earlier games and it would be good to see Nancy doing some more serious sleuthing in the future.- Quandary

The plot did lose me, and all the pieces didn't really ever come together until Holmes explained it to me at the end, but those little pieces were enjoyable in their exposition.- Quandary

The Omega Stone is an imaginative tale that is more ambitious than its predecessor and manages to weave into the story a shadowy brotherhood that seems to have links to the Templars, and hints at further ambiguous, if not sinister motives.- Quandary

Exploring the pyramid is truly fascinating - both the 'real' structure consisting of unadorned claustrophobic passageways, and the 'imagined' secret chambers with their carvings and paintings fit for a Pharaoh.- Quandary

Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern doesn't stretch the boundaries of game making, and there is nothing really new to be encountered, but it is a polished and well made product that provides good solid gaming and a pleasant weekend adventuring.- Quandary
