If you’ve never played the first two titles in Sony Santa Monica’s seminal series before, then you’re probably better off sampling them on the PS3 first – but if, for whatever reason, you need to take Kratos on the go, then this Vita version represents a more than adequate gift from the Gods.- Push Square

This is fun for an evening if you’ve got some buddies nearby, but without an online option and with a pretty tiring cast, you’ll quickly tire of this comic book clash.- Push Square

In spite of the usual technical troubles, the quality of the writing in The Walking Dead: Season 2, Episode 3 – In Harm’s Way is too good to ignore. Indeed, incredible storytelling and character development leads to one of the best chapters in Telltale Games’ library, and after a slightly slow start, this season is now moving at full force.- Push Square

While there’s nothing horribly wrong with the experience, there’s just not enough here to recommend it, especially when there are more engaging and polished experiences readily available.- Push Square

This is an entertaining distraction at a decent price, and is definitely deserving of an ever ready spot on your device.- Push Square

It successfully straddles the line between accessibility and authenticity, but presentation issues let it down. Still, if you’re eager to experience the basic thrills of bagging a buck without needing to bathe yourself in real animal urine, this may just about be worth the punt.- Push Square

Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi isn’t for everybody, but you may be surprised by its appeal. It’s a decent, if slightly overindulgent novel that's presented in a way that’s hard not to love. It may be a bit rough to read all the way through while sitting in front of a big plasma screen, but those with no other choice could do much worse.- Push Square

If you've been burning with anticipation for a fantasy RPG on Sony's newest console, Bound by Flame may be worth a look – but be sure to keep your expectations lukewarm.- Push Square

Nevertheless, if you haven’t played the PS3 or Vita versions, and you’re eager to enjoy some virtual chess, then this is the best option currently available, as it really looks sensational.- Push Square

With a low price, it may be worth splitting the cost between close pals for an evening’s worth of entertainment – just make sure that you know what you’re getting into first.- Push Square

A drab campaign and awful loading times underline this colossal misstep in the stage of history.- Push Square

Despite its imperfections, an array of handy gameplay mechanics coupled with a colourful cast of characters provides just enough intrigue to justify the thirty-or-so hours that you'll spend level grinding your way through this adventure.- Push Square

Outlast: Whistleblower doesn’t muck around with a formula that’s already proven to work, and it subsequently succeeds at extending the spooky atmosphere of Red Barrels’ survival horror release. The new campaign accompanies the original game well, and even improves upon it in many ways. It also ups the ante in the terror department, hitting harder and more frequently, without relying too heavily on jump scares.- Push Square

No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either! is an engrossing and devilishly entertaining experience. Absurdly tight gameplay coupled with charming presentation and surprisingly memorable music mean that it’s likely to eat at away at your spare time with gleeful abandon.- Push Square

If you've spent a lengthy amount of time with FIFA 14 on the PS4, 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil's visual quality and gameplay fluidity can take some getting used to, but this is still an enjoyable package if you've caught World Cup fever.- Push Square

Horror games can be tricky to get right, but Daylight fails on virtually every front. It’s a shame to see such a promising product slump so spectacularly, but despite being a rather short affair, this is still a pain to play through.- Push Square

The game’s short story and lack of additional content mean that this is a trip that you can take in a single evening – but its originality makes it more than worth the ride. Indeed, while this zany affair may be fleeting, its characters and dialogue will stick with you long after the credits roll, and that’s reason enough to engross yourself in its wacky world.- Push Square

Ethan: Meteor Hunter plays around with some interesting concepts, but although its pitched as Super Meat Boy meets Braid, it fails to do either justice. With frustrating controls and irritating puzzles, we recommend avoiding this one like the plague.- Push Square

The lack of a tutorial, a stunted story mode, and the inclusion of a poorly judged free-to-play component drains some of the colour from the experience, but as soon as you land that special heart attack, you'll quickly forget all about its shortcomings.- Push Square

Whatever your preconceptions, Short Peace: Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day will surprise you, and continue to surprise you even after the credits begin to roll. However, while often humorous and delightful, the game portion of this package is a very short experience, consisting of only nine stages and taking roughly just over an hour to complete.- Push Square
