It's still too boring and esoteric an experience for some of us to even take seriously. Add an extra point to our score for Save The Homeland if you're a fan of the series, or feel free to ignore whatever we say.

For twenty bucks the consumer is getting one heck of a gameplay-soaked and nostalgia-inducing bag of goods with this CD-ROM.

A competent but no-frills rendition of a racing event that puts as much emphasis in the long time it takes to get ready to race as in the all-too-quick races themselves.

If you’d rather play a fast and offensive football game over a slower more realistic one, NFL2K2 is for you. It’s the fastest and easiest to play of the big two. If not for the sloppy AI, it might actually be better than Madden.

It may not have the cult personality of the "Dance Dance Revolution" series but it definitely has hooks that are capturing.

It delivers on all pistons with plenty to keep gamers playing for months.

Although suffering from flaws on all fronts (particularly control), I think I can point to the reliance on item collecting as the primary culprit that brings The Great Quest down hard.

A good one despite its dated appearance and wonky handling of the character's movement...captures the magical nature of its license quite well.

I'd like a more memorable and challenging shooter for my hard-earned dough. Call me crazy.

A pretty short game that doesn't have either multi-player or additional hooks beyond its ability to let kids relive the tree-surfing and water-rafting antics that the character engaged in during the movie.

If players approach "Supercross World" as an arcade racer that plays by the indoor and outdoor rules of motocross though, then it has plenty to offer...Dead-average, brain-dead motocross fun at its most basic level.

The learning curve requires a lot of work. Who wants to put that in when games like "Rumble Racing" are around and do it better?

No, this game doesn’t suck, but it has so little new that you can’t help shake the feeling that it’s old hat and maybe a bit played out.

The text book definition of 'rental', 18 Wheeler is an expensive one-joke bomb when bought for $50 but an appealing and (dare I say it?) fun driving game for the couple of hours that it took me to beat the crap out of it.

It lacks the passion of creators like Bungee ("Halo") or Valve ("Half-Life"), who were obviously in love with their projects as they were designing them.

There are still areas that could use improvement but I must say I am pleased with the progress. This is a College Hoops game that should be given a look.

Nearly everything in the game is interactive the way it would be in the real world whether it’s melting ice cubes to leaking flour bags. The detail is staggering.

The multi-player modes and maps in "Gold Edition", which are exclusive features for this PS2 port that were meant to be selling points, are sabotaged by control and graphics that are far below the standards of competing FPS titles on the system.

Intelligent gameplay flows throughout the game giving gamers the ability to use their intuition and instincts rather than some obscure puzzle or scavenger hunt that frustrates to no end.

The "Power Stone" style of fighting isn't done justice by this 32-bit engine, which isn't fast-enough or polished-enough to elevate it past mediocrity.

Rent "Driven", along with Square's "Driving Emotion Type-S", as it's suggested in page 47 of Dr. Jack Kevorkian's favorite book, "Final Exit".

Shoddy control and awful collision detection only worsen what could have been a decent game otherwise.

Perhaps it's the fine tuning of the controls, or the training section that changed my mind. Whatever it was, I totally am in love with EA Big's newest title.

A pleasant surprise that matches its lowly selling price. You truly get what you pay for here.

The simple fact that you must now “work” to get a pass through really makes the game lean more toward the simulation nature. Passes no longer go directly to the teammate but rather in the general area, which reminds me of real soccer games.

If you like games that tell stories, this is one of the best yet for the PS2. It’s shocking that it’s also one of the best shooting / action games as well.

A by the books sequel that takes playing it safe to a new level. Come on guys this easily could have been done on the PS One and it probably should have.

A brilliant game if experienced in short bursts... the game was obviously not designed with long term play in mind.
