Do you like Guitar Hero's tracklist more, or Rock Band 2's? My personal choice is Guitar Hero: World Tour, as its louder and heavier soundtrack puts a bigger smile on my face than Rock Band 2's unusual mix. With fantastic multiplayer offerings, backwards compatibility with Rock Band peripherals, and flawless audio, World Tour is worth the money.

There are a ton of things to do, and completing the game 100% will take weeks, if not months. The online play is solid, but not spectacular.

Many might question the new Pandora and Gem features, and the final boss is a colossal pain in the ass, but there's no denying the extreme responsiveness, fluidity, and depth of the gameplay.

Yeah, I respect the Hades games and massively respect Supergiant Games, and have nothing but respect for all of the work the Balatro devs put into it, let alone the masterpiece that was Blue Prince, but they’re generally not really my cup of tea. I didn’t even like Balatro that much, but considering I’m not super into poker as is, I was not sure what I was expecting there. It might be the specifics here, the action, twitchiness, being able to play as these characters again outside of the original games or BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, or just something I can’t quite place my finger on. I genuinely quite enjoyed my time here, and hope the best for future updates. Now, if you don’t mind, I’m just gonna go find a rock to skip across these waters before I take another dip.

One of the more innovative and atmospheric titles of the generation. In addition to the platforming issues, I had some problems with online connectivity, but both complaints are (relatively) minor. All in all, you're looking at a completely original experience that combines a number of different elements into one undeniably appealing package.

The whole production is just exceedingly well done. Between online and Champion Mode, it's a legitimate Sports Game of the Year contender; it's just too bad that I couldn't quite get into the Legacy Mode.

Ultimately, if you're looking for a shooter similar to Gears of War, you'll find yourself sorely disappointed with Resident Evil 5. Despite people claiming that the control scheme makes for a more tense and frightening experience, I find that it only made for a more frustrating, limited, and redundant experience. I dislike gameplay mechanics being forced onto the gamer, and so I found myself disagreeing with Resident Evil 5's gameplay.

It can look a little too dark in places and there's a strange halt or pause at particular points, but overall, this is a package that absolutely cannot be missed. If you never got a chance to play either title on the PSP, you have no choice; get it now.

First and foremost, "fun" was the order of the day when Criterion sat down to make this game. The user-friendly, extraordinarily streamlined presentation, slick technical elements, and emphasis on freedom is all conducive to that little yet all-important three-letter word: F-U-N.

A game that begs to be played; an experience that begs to be had. It's super intense and is, in many ways, the epitome of nonstop entertainment. You never feel like it's getting too repetitive, you always feel completely involved in what's happening.

A crazy mix of the first two Devil May Cry titles, with a bit of innovation and a more upbeat Dante. The action is flawless.

Mortal Kombat, sans a few irritating slip-ups, is exactly what the fans desire. Good control, the 2D winning formula, the great backdrops and settings, the huge roster (Kratos rules, by the way), the new strategy awarded by the super gauge, the many various modes; it all comes together in a very appealing package.

Devil May Cry 4 plays exceptionally well. It may not be revolutionary, but it sure won't leave you bored. If anything, Devil May Cry 4 is perhaps even more addictive than the last, thanks to a rather enjoyable, well-done story.

If you’re part of the majority that played and enjoyed Uncharted 4, you’re going to find plenty to like in this expansion. If you’re part of the minority that did not, this is not the game for you.

While I think this game is really fun, especially with another player, it isn’t for everyone. If you’re someone who doesn’t like repetitive gameplay, you’re best bet is to turn the other way. If you were looking for innovation, it simply isn’t here. It’s a step in the right direction but, there’s still a lot to go. That being said, if you’re a fan of the Soulcalibur franchise, by all means, pick it up, it isn’t a bad game. Just not a perfect one. If you’re looking for more information relating to the backgrounds of many of your favorite fighters from the series, you can’t go wrong with Soulcalibur VI.

SKATE 2 is great fun, and fans of the original will no doubt love it more than the first. Yes, there are still some gripes to be had, mostly dealing with control issues, but they don't hurt the game nearly enough to damage the experience significantly. With a larger campaign mode, a better playground, more tricks, the Hall of Meat mode, and enjoyable cut-scenes, SKATE 2 is worth the price of admission.

The visual and auditory effects are sweet, the challenge is appreciated (even if you occasionally want to throw the controller), the strategy is a nice twist, and the overall presentation is to be commended. Above all else, this is one of those games that can hook you and never, ever let go.

All in all, despite some awkward design choices, Need for Speed: SHIFT is still a fantastic racing game, and once you figure out your preferred sensitivity settings, everything just clicks and you'll find yourself going from one race to the next, onto the other, and before you know it...it's 4AM.

It isn't as diverse as "Grand Theft Auto," but you should be able to squeeze an ample degree of catharsis out of mugging people, laying down graffiti, breaking into stores, and pummeling rival gang members. I highly recommend that you watch the movie first, though.

It's one of the most accomplished downloadable games we've seen to date, and it goes beyond the appealing graphics, on-point sound, and relatively long length. It features much of the professional refinement we just don't normally see in the digital universe.

The combination of many different gameplay types melded into a cohesive style results in a heady experience, and one you don't want to end. There are a few problems with the technical solidarity and I'm not all that impressed with the story, but everything else, from the art design to the music to the silly high fun factor surrounding the combat and exploration; it creates an undeniably appealing package.
