Tom Clancy's The Division 2: Battle for Brooklyn is a straightforward expansion that offers few new mechanics to the base game. But due to the new region and the intriguing narrative sequence, it's a great excuse to return to the game and remember why it's so much fun to play for hours, whether alone or with others.

Battlefield 6 marks the return of one of the greatest multiplayer franchises to its glory days. With one of the best sound designs in the series, a competent destruction system, extensive customization options, and varied maps, the game delivers intense matches and immersive gameplay. The single-player campaign and some design choices may not please everyone, but they do not compromise the overall quality of this excellent title.

Dark Deity 2 is an excellent strategy RPG that delivers a strong sense of nostalgia while also bringing enough new features to its gameplay to maintain a modern feel. Its combat shines, and the story, despite some minor flaws, holds up very well throughout the journey, making the title an excellent choice for those who enjoy the genre.

Freedom Planet 2 takes its inspiration from one of the biggest franchises in the history of video games, but refines mechanics, design and narrative that had already been presented in the previous game. The sequel manages to improve what was great and becomes one of the best exponents of the genre.

Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course is a great DLC that further enhances an already incredible game. Although Ms. Chalice is not exactly a third character and works as a charm, she brings a lot of new features to the gameplay. Bosses are still amazing and challenging. The only problem may be the duration of the DLC.

Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is an exceptional collection of two important JRPGs, including one of the greatest masterpieces of the genre. The gameplay system works well, but the real highlight is the two great narratives that deserve to be played by any fan of the genre.

Separate Ways is a great expansion, bringing an additional campaign to one of the best titles of 2023. In addition to completely reinventing the mode from the PS2 era, the DLC brings new features to the gameplay and manages to deliver a complete package when we take the base game into account.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is another excellent release from one of the most consistent RPG series today. The narrative is the highlight, but the combat and synthesis systems bring their own brilliance to a journey that will please both old fans and new alchemists alike.

Every story begins at the end of another". This is the great premise of Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, a metroidvania-style game that, while inviting us to explore the beautiful biomes of Kenzera, also makes us reflect on loss and mourning, allowing us to see death with new eyes. Surgent Studios' debut title succeeds in bringing a good balance between exploration, puzzle, combat and action while presenting us with a story full of inspiration from Bantu myths and legends, guided by a great soundtrack. The game works as an excellent gateway to the genre and brings with it a plot of reflection and acceptance.

Mortal Kombat 1 has fun gameplay with several combo route options thanks to Kameos. However, Invasions mode gets boring quickly and the final arc of Story mode doesn't please either. Character customization should have been better after what we've seen in other NetherRealm Studios games and the absence of the Krypt is notable.

Stray subverts our expectations by putting us through the unlikely point of view of a kitten with no fantastic powers or abilities on an exciting journey back to its home. With simple mechanics and impressive visuals, the game's great strength lies in the subtlety of a captivating narrative not because it humanizes the protagonist, but because it proposes to us, for a few hours, to really look at that world through the kitten's eyes.

Dawntrail is a great expansion with a story with ups and downs, but that sets the stage well for what could become the new Final Fantasy XIV saga. Furthermore, the improvements brought by the graphical update and the new combat mechanics prove that there is still a lot of potential to be explored in the future of the MMORPG.
