A good old-fashioned FPS. It looks scrappy and it's short on innovation, but the combat makes up for it. [May 2007, p.74]

No giant leap for the series, but enough improvements to be a must-buy for VT fans...Our only major complaint is the absence of online play. [Mar 2007, p.66]

The Champions League is a amazing showcase of the drama and passion of the beautiful game, but EA have botched its transition to PS2 by simply repackaging "FIFA 07" with minor tweaks and insubstantial additions. Quite simply, a wasted opportunity.

Not as good as "Fight Night" PSP, nor even the old PS2 "Rocky" games. So no title contender, but not bad either. [Mar 2007, p.68]

Don't worry about not "getting" B-ball - this is more of a showing-off sim, and a fun one at that. [May 2007, p.64]

The exploding levels are a barely-veiled, needlessly complicated, rip-off of Mortal Kombat's hotspots, while fighting lacks imagination and characters blur into one. We'd have settled for a shinier version of Def Jam: FFNY - complete with Blazin' moves (inexplicably taken out here) - instead of this disappointing effort.

Dominator is, truly, excellent fun and we've concentrated on the negatives because we're so disappointed it's not up to the stellar heights of previous games. But there's no doubt that this is easily the worst Burnout yet. Shame.

For 20 notes, though, you can't really complain. Played the PSP version to death? Leave this on the shop shelf. But if you're looking for a sunny spot to fritter away the hours until you get a PS3, then GTA is still the only vacation we'd recommend.

This really very attractive game is hand-wringingly dull. Here's why: the handling is terrible. In fact, it's so flawed there's simply never a time when it's fun, or even satisfying, to drive these cars.

Throwaway, stupid, huge amounts of fun and you won't be able to resist its colourful charms. Just don't expect the novelty to last for more than a few hours.
