A gargantuan, lavish historical epic that pushes PS3 to its limits, only to be led down by linear missions and a clunky interface. [Christmas 2012, p.82]- PSM3 Magazine UK

Too much has been thrown in at once, and that grates on the overall enjoyment of the exceptional on-field action. [Dec 2012, p.104]- PSM3 Magazine UK

Think pinball FIFA and you're halfway there. A fast, frantic sports sim, with simple controls that belie hidden depths. [Dec 2012, p.104]- PSM3 Magazine UK

A noticeable step-up in class from 2K12, especially on court and in the My Career mode. Only poor navigation spoils an otherwise incredible sport sim. [Dec 2012, p.100]- PSM3 Magazine UK

It may not provide a quick arcade fix, but as a full on guitar tutor this is one of the most enjoyable ways to learn how to play. [Dec 2012, p.99]- PSM3 Magazine UK

XCOM has more meaningful decisions and consequences than Mass Effect and more scares than Resident Evil. Turn-based strategy games are cool again. [Dec 2012, p.98]- PSM3 Magazine UK

Resident Evil 6 is one hell of a long ride, and there are some amazing stunts along the way. Even a few original ones. But next to the shooter that it tries so assiduously to out-do, Resi 6 feels stale, and compounds things with OTT action sequences that are more B-movie than Bourne. A world of unparalleled potential, married to an Orwellian tale of deception and redemption. Adventures this epic only come along once in a generation. [Dec 2012, p.90]- PSM3 Magazine UK

Light on story and heavy on guns, Borderlands 2 is saved from XP strip-mining by a sharp sense of humour and a slick, destructive multiplayer. [Nov 2012, p.90]- PSM3 Magazine UK

Delivers thick, hearty, face-pummeling hub-based action and exploration with lots to see and do. Not all of it, however, is worth seeing. [Oct 2012, p.94]- PSM3 Magazine UK
