Is this the perfect sequel? Yes. Rocksteady takes the core experience from the already fantastic Batman: Arkham Asylum and expands on it in every imaginable way. This is how every superhero game should be. Action game of the year!

Rockstar does it again. Delivering a great game we mean. Red Dead Redemption has the gameplay of Grand Theft Auto, but situated in the Wild West. Go with John Marston through an exciting adventure in a great environment full of details. Besides some collision detection problems and many glitches/bugs Red Dead Redemption is a great game.

Chell is still locked up in the Aperture Laboratories and you are trying to escape for the second time. This time you'll play a singleplayer with ten hours of gameplay and brilliant puzzles. The humor is great and the new co-op mode is fantastic. Valve delivers with Portal 2 one of the best games of 2011 already.

One of the best games of 2009. It has a great but short single-player. The multiplayer is brilliant and the new mode, Spec-ops is a great advantage of the series. Probably the best first person shooter of 2009.

Braid is a Xbox 360 game that has found its way to the European PlayStation 3 gamers. It’s a little bit too late, but it is still a game that you have to play. It’s got a challenging gameplay set-up and is at the same time exciting, funny and addictive. A very good platform game with time elements and great puzzles.

We've got a few minor complaints, but overall Bioware ends its epic space trilogy in style. Thank you, Commander Sheppard for making an incredible amount of our days in the last few years.

Yes, you can find some bugs and glitches here and there, but that's to be expected. What you should remember is that this game will slaughter your personal life and won't let you go until you've explored every bit of its huge open world. Now go and buy Skyrim, you won't regret it.

The last part in the trilogy is one of the best PlayStation 3 games ever. Kratos is back and he's pissed off at Zeus and the other Gods. In this third part Kratos fights against the biggest enemies ever and that all in brilliant graphics with brilliant audio and a lot (and we mean a lot) of blood and gore. Everybody should buy this game!

Super Street Fighter IV is more of the same. It has ten new fighters, an Endless Battle mode and a Replay Channel. Although it is more of an expansion to Street Fighter IV, you can still see it as a good game. Every fan of the franchise must buy this part, because it has a lot of extra features that makes it worth buying.

Even though it's only two hours long, you won't forget playing Journey anytime soon. And more importantly, you won't regret it: this game is absolutely gorgeous, complemented by simple, but incredibly effective gameplay. If you're a gamer with some form of self-esteem, you'll pick this up as soon as possible.

One of the best Pac-Man games you can get at the moment. The game looks pretty nice, the gameplay is oldschool but fun and it works great on the PlayStation 3. Beside the classic Pac-Man gameplay the game contains a lot of different modes to keep you playing.

This game contains a lot of new elements. The story mode is fun to play alone or with friends and the new gadgets you can use are pretty cool. De level-editor is now even more nice to work with and the possibilities are endless.

A fantastic music game with a nice new way to play the career mode. The game also has a pretty nice soundtrack from normal to hardcore metal tracks. The game also features new instruments like the Keytar and you can play with the professional instruments in the Pro-Mode of the game.

HD Remakes of the first two God of War parts. It’s got the same brilliant gameplay, sound and violence as before. The graphics are a little bit better and if you didn’t play the two parts years ago on the PlayStation 2 or if you’re a Trophy hunter, then this is a great game for you!

A fine PSP game on the PSP. The minigames were better on the Nintendo DS, but the PSP version is graphically better than the Nintendo DS version. Buy this part if you don’t own a Nintendo DS. Do you have a Nintendo DS? Buy the Nintendo DS version.

Limbo is a game with a great atmosphere and a fine style. The gameplay is original and different than usual and also challenging. The puzzles are really simple, but it can be hard to figure out what the solution is. The game is also a bit short.

Demon's Souls is a pretty hard RPG, but besides the difficulty it's a great game. The graphics are very good, the audio is great and the gameplay is genius. The release in Europe is far too late, but the game is totally worth your money. Only the story isn't very interesting, but that's just one point, the rest of the game is great.

FIFA 10 was a great game and EA does it again with FIFA 11. The game is even better than last year, because of the many small improvements and new features. Every new element is a great one, except for the possibility to play with the keeper, that's kind of boring. But besides that, it is a fantastic game!

Great variety and there are alot of different ways to play this game and that makes it fun to play time after time. In other words, one of the best games of this year.
