Age of Booty is a competent multiplayer real-time strategy game that uses its pirate setting well. It is best played among friends on levels you designed for yourself or with strangers over the PSN. Single player levels are ok in itself, but offer no more than a tutorial and very basic gameplay.

Mega Man may not be as captivating and "new" as Mega Man 9, but the latest adventure of the Blue Bomber will not leave you disappointed. If anything, it will make you ask for more.

Trine is impressive with its beautiful and addictive platforming and Lost Vikings-esque gameplay. However, there's a lack of challenge in the early parts of the game, and the short game time leaves a bit to be desired. Frozenbyte should be applauded for their efforts though, and Trine is well worth the money.

Manhattan is infected by the same virus that gave you superpowers and a human life is worth close to nothing in your quest for revenge and truth. Prototype is is a great apocalyptic game, and it's only what it lacks in story telling and AI that prevents it from getting a higher score. Not for children, though.

Everything in Resistance 2 is bigger - all the way from the giant bosses to the 60 player online games. The arsenal is well-balanced and the gunfights are intense. Some more innovations would have been appreciated, but the shine and polish that Resistance 2 shows is more than enough for a recommendation.

This game offers such an immense variety of levels and fun gameplay that you cannot simply ignore it, even as an adult. Kids will absolutely go bananas over the fun characters, the colorful environments and the fun storyline. The only let down is a touch of the soggy control syndrome, but hey - chances are you won't care if you're a 10 year old kid.

Pro Evolution soccer is a good improvement since last year, and is more arcade based than previous years simulations. All you need to do is pick up the controller and enjoy the beautiful game.

Wakeboarding HD is of those games that's easy to pick-up and play, but this time the easy part also means that it's very good, with great controls and excellent graphics. The only thing bad is the price, which is a tad too steep.

As a whole, SingStar ABBA contains 25 well known songs from the Swedish super-group. Even though the SingStar series is losing steam quickly, with a lack of wireless microphones and interesting SingStore options, this conceptual title manages to impress with its videos and slick presentation. Recommended for all ABBA fans out there.

We aren't spoilt with a multitude of western games, which is why Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood poses such a fresh gust of air. Graphically this game is excellent, and if you play on the hardest level you'll encounter resistance enough to make it a challenging experience. Online mode is not as fun as it could be, though.

The simple controls and arcade playability make up for the repetitive gameplay and the low-quality graphics. Both the story and the boss battles make this an enjoyable experience that doesn't need to rely on a movie license to stand on its own two feet.

It's the voice command function that makes Tom Clancy's EndWar really shine, and it brings a fluidity and ease-of-use that will hopefully become the standard for console RTS games in the future.

SSFIITHDR is by no means a bad game, but to release this in Europe just hours before the Street Fighter IV launch is just inconsiderate, and Capcom have managed to outmaneuver themselves. However, there's lots of exciting fighting to be had in this game, and the graphics look just like we imagined that they did back in the days.

Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic is a fun little Super Smash Bros clone that is well worth downloading if you feel like beating up your friends. What it lacks in online functionality it makes up for in variation and fun gameplay. It may be a bit boring if you play alone, but it's fun when three of your pals are around.

Crash Commando is a retro-infused 2D shooter with a furious pace, responsive controls and an impressive arsenal. The single-player experience doesn't encompass much more than a boot camp though, but it's during the multiplayer bouts that this game really shines - especially with the gory visuals.

MX vs ATV Reflex is a competent game with an innovative new way of steering your bike and your rider, despite slightly awkward controls. Good graphics and fast, hardcore racing are the real highlights.

A Kratos in Crusaders clothing, Dante's Inferno isn't much more than a carbon copy of the God of War series, which is a pity since the setting is impressive and the series has a lot of potential. Dante said it best himself: "I cannot well repeat how there I entered, So full was I of slumber at the moment. In which I had abandoned the true way".

In single player mode, Zombie Apocalypse is not only hard - but it gets a bit boring after a few hours. This game is yet another one of those PSN-games that focuses on smooth multiplayer mechanics, which is welcomed - especially as we get to slaughter zombies.

Revenge of the Wounded Dragons is a good little Double Dragon-fighter that is best (and easiest) when played with a friend. No online mode and a little odd control issues at times still cannot change that this is solid two player entertainment that's well worth its price.

White Knight Chronicles: International Edition is a solid role playing game, and the battle system hardly even feels like it's turn based. All the item collecting parts really helps the offline part, but it's the village building and the online gaming that really makes the game fun.

Greed Corp is the PSN-version of the strategy board game that never was. Although its game mechanics is both simple enough to learn fast and complex enough to make even the AI tough opponents – it doesn’t offer enough variety to make it “that great strategy game” I just have to keep on playing.

As a parkour simulator, Mirror's Edge is a force to be reckoned with, revolutionizing the first person genre with its fluid motions and the gaming market with its distinct design. But as a platforming and action game it leaves a lot to be desired, and theunforgiving control and haphazard placement of checkpoints are infuriating. Mirror's Edge could and should be amazing, but doesn't manage to be better than good.

Despite fulfilling all the promises they made to fans of the first game - split screen action, more vehicles on screen and larger levels - Evolution Studios haven't really dared to do too many new things. The graphics haven't been sharpened enough and the game feels more like MotorStorm 1.5 than a sequel. Fun, but not much more.

3 on 3 NHL Arcade is a fun little hockey tackle game for 2+ persons. Playing solo gets a bit boring after a short while, but with a bunch of friends, in your living room or online, 3 on 3 offers a great deal of entertainment and competition. On the downside the settings have to be configured every time and aren't saved for future sessions, and the music and menu sounds are annoying.

The Tekken series has aged surprisingly well in it's core, with quicker gameplay and an impressive roster. But time has taken it's toll, and it does feel a little old. Also, the campaign mode is nothing short of awful.

The Godfather II brings mob strategy and action together, and does neither thing great. It is still, however, a game you cannot leave that easily – with an interesting gaming concept around made men, intimidation strategies and other mob oriented modes of play.
