Super Monkey Ball Bounce seems like an interesting spin on Popcap's well-loved franchise, but it doesn't take long for all that monetisation to get in the way of the fun.

A decent mix of action and platform gameplay, but despite an interesting new feature, Crash of the Titans simply doesn't do enough to stand out in a sea of Nintendo DS titles.

A nice idea that gets a bit lost in difficulty spikes and frustration.

Delivering in terms of looks, Chocolate Tycoon proves far less proficient when it comes to the actual process of making the sweet stuff.

A marvellous idea that hasn't been executed as well as it deserves. It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing.

Almost nothing to do with Transformers but a reasonably decent action puzzler nonetheless.

The 3rd Phantom is a workman-like tactical RPG which will come as manna from heaven for hardcore Bleach fans but fails to distinguish itself from the many other titles of this type already available.

Entertaining but sometimes incredibly tough, Fluid Football doesn't have the grace of New Star Soccer, but it'll keep football fans engaged for hours.

It's better than the original, but there are still games more worthy of your attention out there.

Despite being loveable and well-made, Pokémon Ranger's combat system is too shallow to grip your attention.

Still a few content updates away from realising its true potential, Guns Royale could grow to be a monumental mobile hit.

There are some nice ideas in Lifty, but it doesn't quite manage to hit the heights it should.

A fairly enjoyable puzzler that would have made a decent premium mobile game, but IAP and gating drag it down.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is what happens when a classic is ported too often.

Overall, I and Me has some good ideas but the gameplay dries up too quickly to warrant hours of play.

A mish-mash of good ideas and poor execution, Furious Stars has its moments, but they're too few and far between.

It's not exactly Asphalt, but Overdrive is bright and bold enough that you'll enjoy it for a while at least.

By diluting its traditionally strong ball-flicking action with underwhelming card collecting and free to play elements, PikPok's attempt has bounced off the rim.

Heavily derived from Clash Royale, SIEGE: Titan Wars does make a few small changes to keep things interesting.

A familiar RPG premise given a refreshingly imaginative rock twist. Fun at first but the game's rigid structure struggles to remain engaging over time.

A technically superb port of an excellent fighting game, the absense of modes to practise in and lack of caveats for new players will sadly confine this to a niche audience.

If a landslide of repetitive battles with cluttered combat is your thing, then this game fits the bill. At least you'll never be at a loss for laughs.

The problem with the game is that it plays to none of Sonic's strengths while simultaneously underlining all of the franchise's most famous faults. You're ultimately left with the conclusion that actually a Sonic The Hedgehog role-playing game probably isn't a very good idea. That said, BioWare has done the best it could with a difficult brief.

Globosome: Path of the Swarm is troubled by problematic controls and uninteresting character designs, but it's still compelling when it lets itself roll free.
