Given its resolutely multiplayer stance, we question Dreii's longevity. For now, though, it's a superb, mesmerising creation.

It's one of the best strategy games you'll play on your mobile this year, and serves as a fantastic example of how to do free-to-play right for a core audience, without compromising on artistic vision or gameplay depth.

It's a pity that simultaneous multiplayer didn't make it into the Vita version of Rayman Origins, but that doesn't stop it from being an unforgettable platformer from the mind of Michel Ancel.

I went into Wuthering Waves fully expecting to write it off, thinking it would be a pale imitation of the big one, but it just isn’t. It pains me to say, but it is better. Comparing it to another feels like an insult, Wuthering Waves is just really fun in and of itself. I will be playing more of this, and I wholeheartedly recommend everyone give it a spin. The gameplay is incredibly fun, it looks beautiful, and you don’t need to drop a penny to win. Also, you can pet and feed at least one cat. Probably should have led with that and saved myself the time.
