Dec 21, 2012A well constructed piece of adventure gaming, The Journey Down: Episode One is worth checking out even if you're not a point-and-click sort of person.
-
Jan 7, 2013I'm looking forward to the forthcoming chapters of the series, but my ultimate judgment of the series will depend on how Skygoblin handles the larger themes in the world and the continued development of the characters, especially Lina, a confident and intellectual woman who is clearly central to the plot, but who spends this game waiting for Bwana and Kito to get their act together.

Feb 10, 2013The Journey Down's unique setup and well-implemented adventure gameplay gets the series off to a promising start.
-
Dec 28, 2012Setting aside the spotty voice work and choppy animations, The Journey Down: Chapter One is still an adventure worth taking. It doesn't trump work from Telltale or Lucasarts, but with a little more refinement it could sit comfortably at the table with them.
