LBP Karting certainly lacks progression for the franchise. LBP2 opened the world of video game development to anyone and everyone, but Karting doesn't allow for the same type of variation in gameplay.

The online features are vast and should keep you busy for quite some time.

Assassin's Creed III takes everything that worked well in previous titles, sprinkled in a touch of Red Dead Redemption, tweaked the combat to be as smooth as Batman: Arkham City, borrowed the cinematic and character development of Uncharted 2, and polished it all off to be one of, if not the very best, game of 2012.

Orgarhythm does a great job of blending two genres together in a perfect celebration of music and strategy.

Beneath the awkward plotline and the average gameplay, you can see the game that it was meant to be, and that is the saddest story of all.

Both games have been ported nicely, with a few new features that weren't there originally.

With two controllers, you're getting the best PlayStation Move title available.

The reality is that Skylanders: Giants is age-appropriate fun that harkens back to the delight you had collecting Pokémon cards or mashing your way through a dungeon crawler. If you've got little ones, then you already know the verdict here.

There is a saying that sometimes less is more and this is something that should have been on every computer screen during development. It feels as if Mugen Souls was never fully finished and to try and cover this up, the player was handed a multitude of gameplay mechanics that unfortunately do nothing to add to the overall value of the game.

Warlords is a surprisingly fresh take on the brick breaking genre, with a pleasantly charming visual style, and a lot of personality. It definitely has it's issues, but they almost never hinder the core gameplay experience.

The Unfinished Swan is a storybook, more endearing and entertaining than those old picture books. If you've got a child, or still know how to get ahold of your inner child, there's a lot to love.

It's also a concept that is incredibly well executed.

With no real competition in the NBA video game arena, 2K Sports could have phoned this one in and still dribbled away with a boat load of cash. Instead, they took a well designed NBA 2K12 and polished it up, threw in a few more needed additions, added some bells and whistles, and finished what could possibly be the Sports Game of the Year.

As copies of the modern versions can be picked up for a comparably low cost, with a still existent online community, I cannot recommend this to anyone but an old school fan looking to revisit some memories.

The massive amount of choice given to players keeps the game interesting through multiple replays, proving that multiplayer isn't necessary to be a hit. In a year, and an industry, stricken with a plague known as "sequelitis", Dishonored is the perfect cure, and should etch its name into every Game of the Year discussion with a sharply-tipped assassin blade.

If you are a fan of mystery games, and a fan of Sherlock Holmes, you'll enjoy this title. If you are looking for a fast paced, action style game, look elsewhere.

Little King's Story was a unique and interesting Wii game, and New Little King's Story does well overall in delivering that experience on a portable system. While an okay follow-up to that game, there's something about the magic of the first one that has worn off a little bit this time.

It still doesn't come together cohesively, and ends being a disjointed mess. There's almost too much content, diluting the shining moments that make Resident Evil 6 special.

The changes to the game's offensive movement and realistic ball control provide a great balance to the already strong precision defending. If you are a fan of soccer or looking to become one, there is no better place to start than with FIFA 13.

If you've got a hankering for scantily dressed girl fighting muscle-loaded men, you'll probably be ready to pick up your preorder, but the rest of us have better things to do with our time.

The only trouble with Borderlands 2, on a critical level, is that it feels less like a true sequel than a Borderlands 1.5, a redux of the original title that lacks in completely new ideas but still clearly has all-around improvements.

Fun quickly fades when trying to actually go through the game, with the experience being dragged down by the crazy inconsistencies of its own world, sloppy multiplayer, disgraceful graphics, annoying music, an overdose of repetition, and too many smaller glitches to count.

A hell of a fighter with some interesting additions that frankly, no one else is doing. That's great and all, but I do think it's time to Tekken to follow other's lead and do something drastic to reinvigorate and reinvent the series. While it's not a terrible thing, it really is just more of the same. But that "same" just so happens to be a solid, deep, rewarding fighter, with a huge, but somewhat bland roster.

The best part? None of these will cost you an easily regrettable 99 cents. Users will crank out tons and tons of the games, further fulfilling the promise of LBP and the imagination.

One of the highly touted parts of NHL 13 was the boost up in the game's artificial intelligence. AI-controlled skaters now move to more natural positions on the ice, anticipating plays and moving to a spot on the ice that actually makes sense.

After playing Transformers: Fall of Cybertron only one word comes to mind: functional. It's sad that a game with as many narrative hooks and the look of the generation one Transformers is so prone to technical issues and some bizarre design choices.

There isn't enough variety between modes, and even though the games are indeed quite fun, the brevity of them and how quickly they begin to repeat leaves Lights, Camera, Party! feeling like there is a distinct lack of content.

For a $10 PSN game, Retro/Grade offers a unique, albeit short, experience that you won't find anywhere else.
