It's repetitive, but lengthy and a lot of fun in co-op. It won't win any prices or anything, but as far as brainless shooters go, you can't do much better than this.

It's a bit chaotic and the visuals won't win any awards in the near future, but if you don't mind these things, Helldivers turns out to be a pretty enjoyable top-down shooter with some strategy elements thrown in for good measure.

An improvement upon an improvement, Revelations 2 keeps reinvigorating the Resident Evil franchise, though stale environments, generic enemies and disappointing visuals leave it firmly rooted in the "good, but not quite great" category.

It looks like we're playing a game on an ancient Greek vase, which makes it unique in the visuals department. The gameplay isn't as deep as it could have been, but it's enough to keep you interested for a while - or at least until the next big guns come out.

An excellent multiplayer game with a unique concept and jaw-dropping action. You'll need friends to play it with, though. And now that we're nitpicking: a single-player campaign would have been nice as well.

If not for Mira Forrester's portion of the story and the arrival of a surprising new character in Ironrath, this would be a pretty dull affair. As it stands, it's still a rather dull affair, though spending a couple of hours in Westeros will never be a bad way to spend your time.

The story's a waste of time and the audio's lacking, but other than that, Dying Light is a blast. As far as mindless, dumb fun with a healthy dose of free running goes, you won't find much better than Dying Light.

An interesting start of a promising series, the first episode of Life Is Strange starts out slow, but develops into something truly beautiful towards the end. If you like playing with time itself, you should definitely give this a shot.

Nostalgia, dear old friend... How have you been? It's a blast to see you're still as awesome as we remember, though we could have done without the glitches and disappointing backgrounds.

One of the original survival horror games done justice with a worthy remake. Kudos for the impressive visuals and new (optional) control scheme. If you haven't already played this, you definitely should.

A nice, nostalgic re-release of a classic game, which works decently on our current gen consoles. However, though the gameplay is fine in itself, some technical shortcomings definitely spoil the fun on a regular basis.

The visuals aren't great and Gat out of Hell isn't exactly innovating, but Saints Row remains a highly enjoyable experience, due to its ideal combination of humour, action and open world activities. If you haven't played this before, it is definitely recommended.

Tense, engaging and at times truly shocking... if you love the franchise, you'll definitely enjoy this pilot episode. What's even better than the episode in itself, is the potential for some genuinely brilliant storytelling in the future of the series. Get this.

As expected, the Borderlands franchise translates perfectly into Telltales' series format. Fondly recommended.

Persona 4 Arena was a fine spin-off and this new iteration continues the trend with more depth and a longer story mode, that, however, lacks a bit of gameplay action. Newcomers are strongly advised to start with the previous one, by the way.

A great collection, though the lack of any real gameplay in Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded is a weak point.

There's a lot to do and like here but ultimately, the questionable AI, disappointing story and annoying "always online"-policy bring The Crew down to a unnecessary "mediocre" level.

The concept is nice and surprisingly challenging, making for an ideal game to play in-between the bigger titles.

Another nice (and safe) LEGO experience, only this time it has Batman in it. In Space. With the entire DC universe.

A fine wrestling game with a lot of content and the MyCareer mode as an esteemed highlight. However, the game still has a number of problems that can't be ignored, like the strange animations, clumsy controls and loading times.

Fans of the franchise will love this spin-off, but even they will have to put up with the terrible checkpoints and audiovisual hick-ups. Clumsy game design at its err... best?
