MotoGP 21 is a fine racing game, that surpasses its predecessor in a couple of subtle ways. However, that's not enough to truly set this game apart from the competition. Its content is rather limited, the AI still makes odd decisions and collisions just don't feel like... well, collisions. Milestone's on the right path, but it hasn't quite reached its destination yet.

More of the same, but since "the same" is still a lot of fun, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel remains warmly recommended.

Strider returns victorious. Great boss fights, responsive controls, interesting level design... those are only some of the elements that make this side-scroller such a success.

With Cronos: The New Dawn, Bloober Team has crafted a brilliant survival horror title, with a unique premise, an intriguing story, and a truly captivating setting. The Orphans are a challenging enemy that not only keeps you on the edge of your seat but also forces you to carefully manage every bullet. The varied way you explore the world also deserves praise. It's clear the studio wanted to push the creative envelope. Unfortunately, the technical side of things is far from perfect, with graphics that aren't always convincing and a frame rate that occasionally dips. Don't let that deter you, though. Cronos: The New Dawn is more than worth your hard-earned money and precious time.

This game is better than the previous installment in every way thanks to its fine controls, many vehicles and customize options. It is also nice to see that the tracks offer more spectacle, but that doesn't mean everything is fantastic. For example, the open level races are not well designed and the story adds nothing at all. Also, certain obstacles in racing can completely take you out of the experience. Some blemishes on an otherwise fine racing game for young and old alike.

Still good. Still the exact way to go for this franchise. But is every horror game required to include a boring sewer level these days?

The universe that Star Wars Outlaws presents you with is really optimal enjoyment and the addition of syndicates does the gameplay justice. The audio is fantastic and the story and characters are very interesting. But where the game performs really well in those areas, it is mostly more of the same. There are many opportunities for original and unique gameplay possibilities, but instead the game plays very much on safe. Also, interaction with Nix is very limited, and on top of that, the whole upgrade system feels rather uninspiring and even somewhat limiting.

While still being a great racing game, we were not too convinced by F1 2013. Yes, the career mode is properly fleshed-out (though we've seen it all before) and the classic mode is a nice addition to the franchise, though we could do without the weird paywall construction that demands players to pay extra for all the content. The visuals are also rather boring and the game's intro aims perhaps a bit too much at franchise rookies, which might annoy experienced players.

The ideal love child between Blood Money and Absolution, the first episode of Hitman is unnecessarily hampered by its episodic nature. It's good, but it's also over before you know it.

A truly engaging story told in a unique visual style... there's really not much wrong with Valiant Hearts, even if its replay value isn't all that valiant.

Kind of addictive, due to a lot of content and an enjoyable multiplayer mode. The story, however, is weak and clichéd at best, and Toukiden 2's visuals are mediocre as well.

Playing air guitar to familiar songs in virtual reality is a gift we didn't know we needed. It's a pretty fun game to experience which is partly due to the good tracklist, the different difficulty levels and the immersion. One downside: the explanations are somewhat random, which can make it confusing if you're just starting out. It is also a pity that there is no progression system in the game, which makes it more of a game for in between when you have nothing to do.

This game offers a refreshing adventure within the Ubisoft repertoire and although it lends several elements of other titles, in this setting and combination it feels good and in a certain sense innovative. The gameplay offers plenty of variety, graphically it is beautiful and there is plenty to experience. Only the DualSense implementation is more annoying than useful and Fenyx tends to continuously climb up everywhere, which can be a bit frustrating. But these are no points to ignore the game, the adventure is more than worth it.

I don't like giving a 'Tales' game such a low score, but Tales of Graces F doesn't leave me much of a choice. The game takes way to long to jump into second gear, while both the story and the graphics are mediocre at best. Our advice? Skip it.

As Dusk Falls keeps you glued to the screen from the first minute thanks to the developments in the story, which you can influence by the choices you make. The multiplayer gives it an extra dimension and it pays to play the game several times, thanks to the splits in the story. However, the input registration can irritate, because it does not always do what it should, but beyond that a must play.

The latest installment in the franchise builds on what we already know and, unfortunately, the AI is still not at its optimal level. Also, the skills are largely irrelevant, so the developer has dropped some stitches. But do not let that stop you, because the gameplay itself is very solid. The strong level design makes you enjoy going through the adventure and the sniping itself is a pleasure to experience time after time. In other words, a more than fine sequel in the popular series.

Darksiders turns into a top-down hack-and-slash title... and turns out to be all the better for it. Some minor annoyances don't weigh up to the sheer amount of fun this game holds in store for you, solo or in co-op. The deep and varied combat system forms the proverbial cherry on the cake.

Fall of Cybertron surpasses its predecessor in almost every way and is therefore the best Transformers game on the market. It's got its fair share of problems though: disappointingly bad textures, online connection problems and some annoying glitches and freezes somewhat spoil the fun.

EA's first WRC game is a good entry. With a reasonable price and plenty of content, fans will have a great time with this. The career mode is not too special, but offers enough variety and being able to build your own car is a nice extra. In addition, the gameplay is very strong thanks to good control, but the title does suffer from performance issues and visually it is rather uneven. That said, EA Sports WRC is well worth playing.

A new year, a new MotoGP games. Milestone brings you more of the same and that feels very good in terms of gameplay, because of the better mechanics. In addition, the addition of the 2009 season is very cool, which makes it worthwhile for fans. Still, the game lacks some things here and there. The multiplayer content is very limited and the AI sometimes does crazy things. No major problems, but there is room for improvement.

Blasters of the Universe is an Virtual Reality homage to the almost forgotten shmup genre. It reinvigorates the genre with panache however and the game provides an insane amount of replayability if you're willing to put time and effort into it. And get ready to break a sweat since playing this game on Hell mode will seriously wear you out. A great first title from developer The Secret Location and we want more.

It's a well-made game, especially in co-op, but repetitive gameplay and a story that fails to intrigue keeps it from becoming something truly great. As of now, Destiny unfortunately hasn't reached its full potential yet.
