One Piece Odyssey surprisingly captures the charm of the show. The world is great, and the action looks superb. Even though the story is shallow and predictable, with too much backtracking, and the battles are far too easy, this is one of the best One Piece video games ever made. If you like the show, don’t miss out on grabbing this treasure.

Knights of Honor II: Sovereign is a medieval real-time grand strategy that does something to perfection, but also fails to deliver in some other important aspects. While the game does feel fresh, it's also far too similar to its predecessor, that got released almost 20 years ago. As an older player, it feels good to play the game again, but it’s also disappointing that the studio didn't add many new features that were, and still are, missing.

Forspoken is an absolute disappointment with ridiculously cringe storytelling, a dead open world and lacklustre AI that prevents the creative combat system from really reaching its potential. With obnoxiously bad optimization for both PC and consoles, this is a game that just tries to be an average open-world experience with some assumed original twist but fails even to meet its mediocre expectations.

Fire Emblem Engage combines some of the renowned elements of older titles and pushes them through a more modern presentation. It looks great, plays even better, and a few additional modes are a nice bonus. While the essence of the series remains to be improved in the future, especially when it comes to a fair way to level up characters or navigate through somewhat clunky menus, Fire Emblem Engage has to be one of the best instalments the series has to offer.

Pushing out new content and cosmetics kept this game fresh and of unwavering quality all these years. If you are into Dragon Ball, this definitive next-gen edition of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is the way to go, no doubt about it.

Dead Space remake improves the original in terms of visuals and audio vastly, yet gameplay remains mostly the same. It may not have aged that great, but for fans that just want a major graphical overhaul and some new content, this is a dream come true.

Blacktail is a true hidden gem that is just a perfect window into an Alice in Wonderland-like world full of Slavic myths and masterfully written characters with a lot of lore and care written into them. The combat doesn’t revolutionize the genre, but it poses a beautiful atmospheric experience that many people will enjoy.

MH: Rise is an excellent addition to the franchise, and it worked flawlessly as one of the best Nintendo Switch titles. This next-gen port lives up to the expectations and provides great new gameplay inclusions and mechanics. However, but still fails to come up with the masterpiece that was MH: World due to its hardware limitations in level design, difficulty and overall graphics and atmosphere.

Somerville begins with a promise and ends… It ends wherever you end it, for not all players will endure its 6-8 hours-long run. It is a far cry from the previous „Playdead“ experiences, yet it still holds enough charm to be recommended to fans of this unique genre.

Santa's Gifts is a Christmas-themed, physics-based puzzle game. With only 15 levels to play, the experience is concise but is still a fun way to spend a few snowy, tea-sipping evenings, especially if you’re in a festive mood.

A great and refreshing spin on the FPS genre. Out of Bounds is a puzzle shooter in which you are tasked with creating a game and fixing bugs in a very novel way. The game is pretty short but has excellent replayability potential, which finds a balance.

Need for Speed Unbound is the best modern NFS to date. It is still riddled with issues like rubberbanding and weird drifting physics, but it still provides its players with the best handling system in years, with grip racing finally back. With the best visual design NFS has ever had and some interesting campaign decisions, it gives hope that the series is back on track to becoming something great.

Regarding recent games in the Marvel universe, we had a rollercoaster of various qualities. This one is a gem in the rough, and it can be polished to a fantastic shine with a complete and patched edition down the line.

Maybe not as impressive as the original was 15 years ago, but Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion remasters almost everything possible to remaster without entering the area of remakes. Some elements still smell of an old design made for a portable console, but it does not change the fact that this is the definitive way to experience Crisis Core, one of the best PSP games of all time.

If you are a horror fan who has never played a Yomawari game, Lost in the Dark will offer you a unique horror experience. But if you are an old fan, this feels like a recycling of the first two titles. Either way, it is an excellent game if you are into an unusual mix of creepy and cute.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about the final appearance of Nathan Drake, this time finally on PC. It plays remarkably, it looks even better, and now with a keyboard and mouse, you can have the most enjoyable shooting experience. An immaculate must-play for action-adventure fans and anyone who owns a PC.

Triangle Strategy is an excellent addition to the genre, but it might be a disappointment for fans who were expecting a FFT or a Tactics Ogre Clone. The story is great, the replayability is high, and the gameplay is almost completely devoid of grind, but it still might be a turn-off for some players because of its steep price.

The Dark Pictures Anthology continues to deliver intriguing stories told through a well-written narrative. Only this time, it feels like we have even less control over the flow of the story. Whether the controls are to blame, weird choices or an even more present army of bugs and glitches, The Devil in Me remains an excellent addition to the franchise, but the next one should be better.

The Chant tries hard to convey certain spooky vibes with its occult exploration of the human psyche and emotions but ultimately fails to impress with mediocre combat, forgettable story and lacklustre enemy design. It has some great ideas, acting and visuals, especially for an indie game, but it never uses them to the fullest and is drawn back by many of its flaws.

Sonic Frontiers starts slow and puts you in a state of confusion. But as the game unravels further, it turns out to be an unforgettable and highly entertaining experience. Rabbids: Party of Legends is a great party game with varied and exciting game modes that are unfortunately locked behind an XP progression. However you will still have a lot of fun playing with friends, but when it comes to the solo mode, results may vary. The biggest downfall of this game is the lack of online multiplayer, which would have been a great addition since people are still reluctant to have big gatherings or for people that have friends and family that are not living close by. It is still a fantastic party game that will give you lots of content and fun at a bit of a steep price.

While the game is called Overwatch 2, this all seems more like a transition to a full new game. The biggest changes are dropping the 6v6 gameplay in favour of a much more exciting 5v5 format. Three new heroes are also available, along with a new game mode, but for a final and real verdict, everyone should wait for the upcoming PvE segment.

New Tales from the Borderlands is so overblown with all sorts of different kinds of humour that it is choking the comedic timing it could have had - most of the funny moments involve side characters and not the main ones. The story is good, but the choices don’t feel that important compared to the other games in the genre.

This remaster will consolidate Jojo fans under one fighting game, as it poses with its great fighting system and absurd roster of 51 characters. Sadly, it lacks a good net code, making it a hellish online experience and regretfully leaves the story mode out and replaces it with a lacklustre all-star battle mode.
