Battlefield 3 may not be the absolute powerhouse I desired; as it still suffers from some irritating glitches and a mediocre campaign. If you're not going online, there really isn't enough to recommend this game. The multiplayer stands as a game on its own and is the absolute reason to pick up Battlefield 3 ASAP. If it isn't all the unlockables that keeps you playing month after month, it will certainly be the exposure to a massive online shooter that creates a different experience with every match.- Planet Xbox 360

This game is definitely not for everybody. If you don't have Xbox Live, prefer to play games by yourself, or just don't have very much patience, you should probably pass on this.- Planet Xbox 360

The design is quite inspired for a product designed for younger players, and the presentation is surprisingly high in value.- Planet Xbox 360

Fans should enjoy it, but, for us, it just covers too much of the same territory we plowed through before. Give us Dead Rising 3 already…and not Dead Rising 2.5 or 2.7.- Planet Xbox 360

If there is one weak area, though, it's the soundtrack. Some of Forza 4's tunes are pretty good, but the techno tracks are kinda forgettable.- Planet Xbox 360

It's still a hell of a relaunch to a long-running series, an imaginative – and captivating – trip through various game types, including overhead bombing and some breathtaking dogfights. If you thought Wings of Liberation was a nice piece of flight fun, you haven't seen anything yet.- Planet Xbox 360

The story is tight and fast-paced; the presentation really shows Beenox's improvements over the past few months; and the gameplay is engaging, even if there's not much actual web-slinging to do this time around.- Planet Xbox 360

The gameplay, both driving and shooting, is wild, gory fun; the graphics raise the bar on how a next-generation product is supposed to look; the audio is top-quality; and the multiplayer stuff that does exist is more than enough to keep you and your fellow gamers busy.- Planet Xbox 360

If you're more experienced and have an idea of what you might be getting into here, it's worth the pain and suffering – in a twisted way. The presentation is top-notch material; the gameplay, though punishing, does pick up over the course of the game; and the multiplayer is surprising, mainly because you don't know whether to expect a friend or foe.- Planet Xbox 360

Silicon Knights may not be treading into its Eternal Darkness territory here, but at least it's steering clear of its Too Human regime. This Destiny's got some weight behind it.- Planet Xbox 360

The gameplay is both intuitive and entertaining, while the presentation goes head and shoulders over most other shooters out there. You might have missed it the first time around on the Saturn – but whatever you do, don't miss it this time.- Planet Xbox 360

Small issues aside (including the lack of co-op on the disc), Warhammer 40K Space Marine is an epic battle that deserves your time and attention. The multiplayer, despite being barebones, is great fun, and the single player campaign offers plenty of blood to spill, even if you're a newbie to Games Workshop's world.- Planet Xbox 360

San Francisco has been faithfully re-rendered, down to every street block and tourist spot. And you can easily view and zip to events on a map using a useful HUD that shows you where everything is. The characters look great, too, and, thankfully, they never get out of the car to run around, like they did in Driver 2. This is one smooth-looking ride, baby.- Planet Xbox 360

We're quite impressed with how well the Kinect controls worked in Rise of Nightmares. The combat itself, while repetitive is sloppy fun, as you lop off heads and kick someone back into the middle of next week – or maybe even an elaborate trap. Still, more could've been done with walking.- Planet Xbox 360

Dead Island joins the ranks of other zombie games like Dead Rising and Left 4 Dead as one of the best experiences in the genre. While the melee combat and first-person perspective will take some time to get used it, the experience is absolutely rewarding, especially if you can gather up a group of fine zombie killers to come with you for the ride in co-op.- Planet Xbox 360

While its limited multiplayer and even more limited AI will keep it from being as legendary as, well, the other A-list stuff, it's still worth a look, mainly because of its entertaining weapons play and its solid visuals. If you're in the mood for an off-the-grid shooter or just want to blow shit up while you wait for EA's masterstroke, lock and load.- Planet Xbox 360

Though El Shaddai could've used a little more replay value (or perhaps even some online multiplayer – not just leaderboard support), this game definitely looks and sounds like the sort of product that deserves multiple playthroughs, if only to relive its majesty for repeat visits and see what a talented development team can do.- Planet Xbox 360
