However, on the PS2 and PSP, Sony San Diego was able to bring over a lot of the gameplay and AI improvements, making MLB 08 one of the best playing baseball games on either platform.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is undoubtedly the best game in the series. The amazing soundtrack, superb wireless guitar, subtle tweaks, and excellent online multiplayer are exactly what fans have been wanting from the series.

The game includes tons of gameplay, a plethora of Marvel characters, a great presentation, and successfully balances the action and RPG elements, while letting players choose just how much they want to micromanage.

The polished graphics, new missions and classes, and multiplayer mode are all icing on the cake for a game that is genuinely funny and provides a rather unique experience.

Even if straight-on wrestling isn’t your thing, the fighting element in the game is involved enough to please fighting game fans. Of course, fans of the hip-hop genre will love the atmosphere in the game.

Overall, with Call of Duty: World at War, Treyarch successfully did two things: they made World War II shooters relevant again and brilliantly followed up one of the best games of this generation. On the Wii, they also successfully modified a very technically demanding engine to less powerful hardware.

On its own merits, though, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is an excellent shooter, with some of the best controls and gunplay on any shooter.

X-Men Legends II isn’t a drastic improvement over the first game, but it is definitely an improvement and ultimately a fun game.

If you're interested in golf games on the PSP, Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 is definitely the game to get.

Many of the new features are well-received and while the others will take some getting used to, this is undoubtedly a move forward for the franchise.

The visuals in NBA Ballers are excellent. All the other NBA games have striking player models but they don't compare to the ones in Ballers.

The production values are amazing with top-notch graphics and sound found nearly everywhere. Though the game runs a little short – we played a little over six hours – you’ll have a blast every step of the way.
