World Series of Poker 2008 is a great poker game. The AI is aggressive without obviously cheating and the underlying gameplay mechanics are solid.

The game looks a lot better since Rockstar has made use of the Xbox’s visual processor for higher resolutions, better textures and a much better framerate.

Isn't the best compilation that money can buy. For $20 though, you'll be getting a lot of games which more or less function very well. If you are even remotely interested (particularly in "MKII" and "MK3") be sure to pick it up.

Though the game isn’t perfect, the addicting story line and amazing presentation are definitely welcomed. If Treyarch had kept the bigger city and more advanced web swinging techniques, Ultimate Spider-Man would have been the definitive Spider-Man game.

Fight Night round 3 works as well as could be expected on the PSP. EA Chicago tried its best to work around the lack of the second analog stick.

The game does lack a number of modes and gameplay tweaks that were incorporated over the years. If you can live without these modes, you’ll have a good game to showoff your new hardware with.

The minute plus load times, for a portable game, are more unacceptable. Rockstar Leeds was able to accomplish a lot with the game and this is almost enough to make up for the shortcomings.

As it stands, SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab won't hold the attention of older games for very long. Younger gamers will probably be entertained by the loopy level designs and crazy objectives.

The games themselves let you tinker with the amount of credits you can use, so that means you can progress regardless of your skill level.

Technically, the game fares rather well, considerably better than the PS2 version. The frame-rate stays at 60FPS for the most part, although there are a bit of drops here and there.

One of the most entertaining games on the Wii. If it weren’t for the recycled tracks, which come from earlier SSX games, this would be a must have. The ubertricks are a little annoying to pull off and unfortunately required to get far into the game, as well.

Thanks to the controls, shooting masses of zombies is pretty fun. The frantic gameplay keeps up throughout the game’s length, though it only checks in at a disappointing five or so hours.

The game’s audio perfectly complements the visuals. The background music flows naturally with the game without become an annoyance.

Unfortunately, the Gamecube version of the game does not include any online multiplayer support. Spark Unlimited did not balance this exclusion with any multiplayer split-screen modes or even a multiplayer co-op campaign.

Outlaw Golf 2's golf gameplay isn't stellar but the game more than makes up for this by the sheer variety of modes available, the unique and ultimately loveable (if a bit scary) character lineup, Xbox Live support and of course, the $20 price tag.

Bomberman is a great rendition of the classic franchise. It’s a rare, truly portable game on the PSP. It’s fun in short bursts, but thanks to the 150 stages, you’ll be playing for hours.

NBA Live 08 doesn’t add a whole lot of new modes, but the stronger gameplay goes a long way. The improved, more realistic gameplay, coupled with the excellent presentation package make NBA Live 08 a must-have for basketball game fans.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 isn’t going to win awards for being groundbreaking or innovating. But if you’re a Wii owner looking forward to running down some Germans using your new Wii Zapper or just want a good, old-fashioned run-and-gun shooter, then this is your game.

The game’s visual style is excellent. Red Dead Revolver very accurately represents the West...Technically, the game doesn’t fare as well. The frame-rate drops a bit too often on PS2 and there are a number of collision detection problems.

One of those amazingly fun, carefree games and doesn’t take itself too seriously. The action is hectic and breaks every law of physic and though the gameplay isn’t that varied, it’s still quite fun.

Gun Showdown manages to improve on the original in many ways. You get more content (and thus correcting one of the main faults against the game), multiplayer and portable-friendly minigames. The underlying gameplay is still top-notch and the presentation is as well.
