If you're a hardcore gamer, there are certainly better games to be spending your money on. If you have kids, or you're a fan of the movie, you could do worse, but the game likely won't keep you entertained for long.

While the note-plucking, drum-whacking mechanics of the game are fine, there just aren't enough songs to sustain interest.

Wartech: Senko no Ronde is a hard game to recommend to everyone due to its sheer lack of content but fans of this rare and dying genre should definitely check it out.

Even if it is considered just a kids game, it still doesn't make the grade. That is even with all the conventions that have been borrowed and all the variety that it tries to provide.

If you like beat 'em ups, you will appreciate this one, but ultimately Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage is a love letter to fans of the original series.

Paint by numbers role playing worsened by clumsy mechanics and a lack of ambition, and potential for stronger identity hurt by an absence of any unique selling point. For the biggest fans of the franchise and genre only.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-shelled aims to bring back the feeling of turtle power, but ultimately it doesn't contain the solid gameplay that the modern gamer expects from a title.

Dynasty Warriors 6 is a years-old game masquerading as a new one. Old gameplay and old visuals mean that if we want some crowd-mashing fun, we'll be digging out a previous iteration before this one.

Full of wasted potential. A disappointing effort from a developer that knows better.

Dark Void is perhaps worthy of a rental or a bargain price purchase, but apart from this there's nothing here that's inspired enough to entice you.

A quality title that suffers from the fact that it had to be a little rushed. However, the fast game play and addictive career mode kept us coming back.

Time Crisis 4 feels like a 10 year old game, the franchise needs to advance and Time Crisis 4 is easily the worst title yet in the series.

Mega Man Starforce is far from a bad RPG. It's just doesn't do anything that hasn't been done better before.

Jericho lacks any real defining features - it's just a mass of clichés, tried and true genre elements and technical issues.

Rainbow Six Vegas is a short but entertaining first-person shooter that will attract fans of the Tom Clancy games, but not much beyond that.

The atmospheric presentation of Microbot is top-notch for a downloadable title. But for a game that promises to be an action shooter, the severe lack of action throughout a significant portion of the title makes this one game that should be left to flat line on the operating table.

Need for Speed Undercover is just a disappointing game on the PlayStation 3. Without all the technical flaws the game could have been enjoyable but at times it feels like you're in the photo mode, while you're supposed to be racing.

The game may not have aged well in some areas, but given its fair price, newcomers looking for a fun and unique arcade experience should check out this port of Crazy Taxi.

Phantasy Star fans will adore the new title, but after Phantasy Star Online the development of the series isn’t as groundbreaking as the aforementioned title, and often leaves you questioning whether the time and money is worth spending when other titles provide much more.

With another six months of development time this could have been another enjoyable puzzle game for the PSP, but unfortunately Frantix is just a little too short and a little too budget for our liking.

While strategy elements make the title more appealing and accessible to a broader audience, ultimately it’s not enough to compensate the repetitive hack and slash gameplay. Unless you’re fan of the series, then there’s little that will hold your interest.

A generic platformer to say the least. It is obvious the game’s focus is on the franchises rather than the core gameplay mechanics. One for the diehard fanatics only.
