With its eye-catching graphics and heartwarming story, Pragmata offers a truly delightful experience. The tension that the hacking mechanic brings to the combat, in particular, has a very unique feel to it... I’m really happy with where Capcom is at right now.

Just like Chained Echoes, Sea of Stars successfully adapts 90s console RPGs to modern day.

A game that is clearly the pinnacle of the Pikmin series. A near-perfect adventure that blends the best of the old Pikmin games.

Darker, bolder and faster than ever Final Fantasy XVI is a fantastic return to form for the series. After years of trial and error this would be the absolute outcome but some light RPG elements and bland level designs puts it a little farther from perfection. Yet mind-blowing spectacles and a memorable story makes this entry one of the best of the series in the end.

Housemarque’s new hit Saros will keep you on the edge of your seat, and the moment you take down a boss, you’ll find yourself doing a victory lap around the room. If you play games for excitement and adrenaline, there’s nothing better than Saros right now.

The 21-year longing of Indiana Jones fans is over. No longer will they only think of Fate of Atlantis when they think of "the best Indiana Jones game". The Great Circle is definitely one of the biggest, most beautiful surprises of this year.

A pleasant touch to art. Thomas Waterzooi has once again managed to achieve an admirable work.

Theatrhythm is a lovingly made game that celebrates Final Fantasy, the fans of the series and Square Enix with music they've been making for 35 years. With its difficult to master but easy to learn gameplay, incredibly large music library and cute character designs, I highly recommend every Final Fantasy fan to give it a try.

There's no doubt that Dead Space will have the same impact on new players in 2023 as it did when it came out in 2008. This is a textbook example of how much a game could be improved while remaining faithful to the original. Motive has set the bar very high when it came to remakes.

Return to Monkey Island is a game worthy of the Monkey Island name. Not only has it retained the spirit of the series, it also has cleverly paid homage to previous titles and incorporated them into the canon. We can't thank Ron Gilbert, Dave Grossman and all of their teammates enough for making a 30-year-old dream come true.

Neva is a work of art that you will never get tired of looking at, and that has more craftsmanship than GRIS in every way. I demand that it be exhibited in museums.

One of the best Spider-Man games ever made, where the production quality truly makes a difference, has finally arrived to PC. It's such a high quality port that I'd recommend in a heartbeat.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will make you forget you're playing on a Switch with its breathtaking landscapes. It’s an incredible game that lets you fully immerse yourself in the sense of exploration. While the story left me slightly disappointed, the game never felt boring at any moment. For a game that offers over 100 hours of playtime, this is an outstanding feature. Whether you're a fan of the Xenoblade series or not, if you own a Nintendo Switch, I highly recommend getting lost in the vast world of Mira and finding your way back someday.

With its brilliant blend of beat ’em up and roguelite mechanics, a carefully crafted atmosphere that clearly comes from skilled hands, a well-thought-out progression system, and satisfying combat, this is one of the year’s biggest surprises. If not for a few minor issues, it could’ve been a Game of the Year contender. Definitely worth checking out.

If you’re still the type who refuses to leave a level without getting the highest score and earning an S Rank, or if you just play puzzle games to unwind a bit, this is definitely a game that deserves a place in your collection.

The Holy Gosh Darn may not reinvent the wheel, but it proves that all dogs go to heaven, and it does what it sets out to do very well. It stole my heart not only for its clever puzzles, but also for being the wittiest game I've played in a while.

Sunbreak expansion is everything you could hope from Monster Hunter and more. Newly (and mostly welcomed) addition of Monsters are both scary and fun to fight and those 14 weapons felts so fresh somehow. You can go into Super Saiyan mode or can have self inflicted wounds for boosted damage output. This time Capcom has gone nuts and all the players will be mindblown with overflowing content and new ways to play their beloved game. Monster Hunter Sunbreak is a delicious treat for fans of the series and a real “rise” of the bar for the genre.

As the series goes big this time Bayonetta 3 is more personal than ever. It’s creativity and larger than life characters boast a huge amount of fun while it’s scope is mindblowing. I know it’s a dying breed of a game but even in it’s last breath it goes with bang. All action fans and series veterans should play this magnificent gem of a game.

The Warlock and quality-of-life improvements provide enough reason to dive back into Diablo II. But the price is a bit steep. If you're getting into it from scratch on Steam, the full pack is a great deal, but if you're only buying it for the expansion… decide based on your love for Diablo.

If you loved Ghost of Tsushima, you will love Ghost of Yotei even more. With five distinct weapons, its action has become much more varied and fluid, and with the subtle Japanese elegance that permeates every corner of the game, it is, as a whole, a truly "beautiful" production.

Arc Raiders’ success is definitely no accident. Embark, driven by genuine passion, has really nailed the PvP aspect - the single most critical element an extraction shooter needs. In this game where you shouldn’t trust anyone, it could have been an almost flawless experience if not for a few critical missteps.

Amidst the swirling questions about the difficulties encountered before its release—whether it would be canceled or if it would ever come—13 years later, a new Fantasy Life game has finally arrived, and it was well worth the wait. If you're tired of similar games in the genre, Fantasy Life is a fantastic alternative.
